Well, dammit, I already chucked that DR that didn't sprout, I thought it was no good! A bummer, but no big as long as I get some seed from this group...that's nuts man 28 days...I think that Pineapple Express may just be an old strain renamed after the popularity of the movie, seems like I remember a "Pineapple Haze" strain from some years back...either way, I love the movie, and I wanted to be the first kid on the block with big bag of that shit, if for no other reason...BTW, FYI...the LSD from Barneys Farm is supposed to be 24 or 25% THC if grown properly, the high is simply described as "euphoric", lol, yummy...

Sounds delicious. And I must be the only stoner in the world who hasn't seen pineapple express, I bought a pirate copy in China in Feb. and lent it to a friend as soon as I got back. I need to visit that fucker and get it back, that was nearly 6 months ago!

lol that sucks man, that's why I hate loaning out my dvd's and cd's and shit, at this point I have so many, that if I loan one out, I just completely forget I ever loaned it to somebody, lol typical stoner...man, I'm sure you've probabaly heard of the torrent site Pirate Bay, I know there are several good working copies of the movie there, and the keyword is: FREE!lol completely off the point here man, but I'm just curious--what type of tunes do you jam out to over there? I just have to ask, I'm also very much into music...also, got any favorite stoner flicks? I don't know if it's a "stoner" movie so much as a "drug" movie in general, but my all-time Fave is "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas", which I highly recommend to you as well if you have not seen it. Well sorry, I just enjoy random rambling now that I have a friend, lol...hope all is stony on the other side lol later...

Ah yeah, Fear and Loathing FTW! I had read the book before I saw the movie, and it was the only book-to-film adaptation that has ever done justice to the source material. If you like HST's style, you should try and pick up a copy of 'Hell's Angel's', he spent a year with them in the seventies and then wrote a book about it. Great read.
I've got very eclectic tastes when it comes to music, my favourite genre is probably instrumental, and as for favourite bands, well, I own more Iron Maiden cd's than any other band, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Prodigy, Faithless, Massive Attack, Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, George Clinton/Parliament/Funkadelic, anything by Shostakovich, Brahms, Akira the Don and many, many more. Basically I enjoy any music that's made with soul, rather than just pumped out to make $$$.
I'm off to a Metallica concert on Saturday, they aren't one of my favourites but my best mate loves 'em, and Thin Lizzy are supporting so it's all good.
Favourite Stoner flicks, let me see, straight off my two favourite movies ever, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail (much funnier than Life of Brian IMO) and Blazing Saddles, after that...Shit, I can't remember the name of it right now, the one where Dave Chapelle gets all the research weed, fucking stoner memory! 2001, Event Horizon and the Alien flicks for sci-fi, Memento and The Machinist for a good mindfuck, I don't really watch many horror, thriller or action movies, mainly comedies. So there ya go.

Oh, and I'm not going to d/l pineapple express, it's not that I have anything against piracy, in fact my uTorrent is rarely idle, but the guy I'm going to the concert with is the one who has it, and I'm staying at his place Friday, so if I remember I can just pick it up then.

Awesome, awesome , all of it...Hmm, well, I counted in me cd book, the band I own the most is, who else but, The Beatles! 30 different Beatles records, 27 different Pink Floyd's...I'd have to say Floyd is my all-time fave. We got to see Roger Waters and his band May 2 of last year, it was their only North American tour stop, and just so happened to be about an hour away for me...it was great, they had the floating pig and all...you know I spent a good portion of my life being really absorbed in the dance/rave scene too, which is all but dead here now...we used to drive miles and miles, state to state, to see people like Paul Van Dyke, Carl Cox, and Oakie when they would come here...BTW Faithless was like a total fave of mine, "Sunday, 8pm" has to go down as one of the very best smoke out/chill out albums ever...the last Massive Attack record I bought was "100th Window", and while it's not my fave, I will always love "Mezzanine"...well, my, uh, "resources" have kind of run out...I'm gonna go pick up more, and maybe I can catch up with you later...thanks again for being a cool poster love meeting people from other countries! Ahh the good old days of Cox & Oakenfold, remember 'em well. I've seen 'em both a few times, as well as Sasha, John Digweed, Ian Van Dahl, Brandon Block, Judge Jules, Tall Paul, Boy George and many more. Good times. It's a shame that the scene is so different now, but I guess that's the price of getting old! I wouldn't listen to a mix by Alex Kidd or Basshunter if my life depended on it!

Thanks for dropping by today, first off I heeded 77401's practical advice this afternoon and ditched the crummy twine holding up the fixture and replaced it with some actual chain I had originally bought to support the HPS when it came time. While the fixture itself wasn't actually all that heavy, the visual in my mind of the shitty twine fraying and snapping thread by thread until it evenually gives way and the fixture falls on a plant about 2 weeks from harvest is just too vivid...I don't know if it's possible to do it all right the first time, but I'm giving it Hell...so the chain is in place, and I actually raised up the surface the plants are sitting on in the cabinet to make them a little more accessible for photos and what not...also the chain will make matters of raising and lowering the fixture a lot more simple even than with the string, always cool! The seedlings look good, save one Purple Wreck, which seems to have sprouted abnormally, but resolutely pushes up towards the light despite his physical handicap...for now, his working name will be "Timmay!", lol...posting some new pics, some of plants and Timmay!, and pics of some new nuggage and the resolved fixture issues..later

Well, hey...whoever,
bout time for an update I guess...my seedlings are looking healthy I think...both varieties seem to be growing a lot quicker now that they are healthy little seedlings. The Diesel is a lot of fun to watch because it grows so quickly. It reminds me of being a child in the Texas school system, growing up, how when we were in like 6th grade we planted bean seeds on the window sill in the classroom, everybody's name writtten in permanent marker on the side of their dixie cup that had their little bean in it, lol...I've done some shopping the last couple of days, picked up a digital thermometer that also reads humidity, and got a digital timer as well, and then today I took a trip to the Hydro store and got the other two Fox Farm base nutes I needed, the Big Bloom and the Tiger Bloom, and I also bought a roll of Mylar to lay down inside the box for more reflectivity...I plan on starting my nute schedule this coming Monday, the plants will be about two weeks old...according to the FF Nute Schedule I should have already been giving my plants the Big Bloom, hope it's not too late...anyone who has experience with the FF nutes should let me know what type of schedule they follow, it would be appreciated...hope all is well for those that are still reading, enjoy the new pics!
