"Sweet Grape is the newest addition to Botanicares line of flavor enhancer. By adding Sweet Grape your plants will be sweeter, healthier and have a grape flavor.

Sweet Grape is an all natural mineral supplements contains carbohydrates and essential secondary elements which are utilized for the bio-synthesis of crucial compounds to maintain optimal metabolism." - Botanicare website.

Definetly something i would test out, maybe on a purp strain

Updated Pics

The bucket is my Co2. I never actually went through with my whole plan, but i found an old valve i had and attached it to the end of my tubing. I have been going with running the co2 for a half hour early in the morning when the lights come on. This morning I accidently left the valve open for an hour and when i went into my closet i got a little light headed and noticed the top leaves where kinda curling down.... hope i didnt fuck them up too bad.

All you need is:

2'' PVC pipe
4, 2'' PVC corners
1 2'' T connector.
2'' Clear poly tube
Rio 800 aquarium pump
360 cloning tips (mini sprinkler heads)
PVC glue and primer
rubermade tub
small baskets
small rockwool cubes

Tools needed:

small saw
razor blade
drill
tape measure

Once you have all your items, measure your tub. Cut your PVC pipe to the size needed for the tub you have, sizes vary (i built a small cloner). Measure everything carefully so it fits right. before you start glueing put your design together to make sure it fits right. then drill your holes for the cloning tips and wash out the plastic residue, so you dont get the tips cloged up. then glue the pipes. Conncect the poly tube from the pump to the pipe. stick the cloner tips into the pipe and fasten with glue if needed. at this point you may want to fill your tub with water and test out the plumbing to make sure everything is in working order. Now you want to cut the holes in your lid for your baskets. make sure the baskets are about 2'' away from the cloning tips. stick your baskets in and you have got a aeroponic cloner

PS: i havent finished cuting all the holes in my lid yet, so dont let that confuse you...
Is that really 2" PVC? It looks smaller but I see you wrote 2" 90fittins too, so it must be 2" It just seams HUGE

Edit: I came up with a theory, if i release the co2 as soon as the lights come on in the morning, i can deal with the heat issue because thats when my room is the coolest. Luckily i had a few leftover parts from my water pump that fit perfectly into my 2'' polytube. So i was able to fit a valve on the end so i can release the co2 when i see fit. Ill post some pics later.
8 bulb T5 are awesome. But why don't you just get a CO2 tank & controller and do it right? Everything else in your set up is.

The pvc and poly tube are all 1/2'' and will fit perfectly with a rio 800 pump and its attachments.

Edit: I dont knoy why i wrote 2'' pvc... I meant 1/2" ... I hope no one took my advice and went out and bought huge pvc...

The main reason I just went with a DIY Co2 is my current financial situation... my job is kinda on hold for the time being. I live on the coast at sea level, so there is a high ppm ratio of co2 in the air and my grow room is close to a window. Im only really supplementing co2 as a test to see how it works ect.

Re: 5x5 Closet grow

I started 12/12 on aug 22nd. Im starting to notice the early flowering stretch. I checked my plants this morning when the light came on and noticed the early stages of a mite infestation on my shiskaberry, which is my most healthy plant... Im still waiting for my order of azamax too. So im going to have to hit them with a dose of floramite which I absolutely hate At least its still very early in flowering thank god.

Re: 5x5 Closet grow

Here some pics two weeks into flowering, everything is going well. Im really thinking about using advanced nutrients for my next batch. I do have one product from there line, called VHO and it works wonders for helping my plants branch out nice and good especially combined with supercroping. The last pic is my clone cab with all my genetics, which ill weed out some after harvest.

Upgrade to 600w

I just picked up a 600w super HPS w/ galaxy digital balast. I finally have some light that covers the 5x5x8 area pretty well. I am using a cheap parabolic hood at the moment and dont really like how the light sits at an angle instead of up in the hood, but it still does the job for now. I plan on getting a sealed hood with 6'' input and output and run some ducting so i can get the light closer.

The plants are now at 27 days flower. These pic were taken on day 24, I dont think you can tell by the pics but i had a slight ph problem on my widow x warloc and shiskaberry. I flushed both with flora clean right after the lights came on in the morning, so i could have the whole 12 hours to dry out the room before dark. The next day i noticed some powdery mildew on a few leafs I have since sprayed the leafs slightly with a baking soda mix carefully avoiding buds and the undersides of the leafs, I just hope it works. I am scared to death of bud rot, which i have always had problems with growing outdoors in my climate.

Re: Upgrade to 600w

Today I am at wk 4. One of my plants is already starting to show a fair ammount of brown hairs. I lost my microscope to look at the trichs and was wondering if i should start flushing this plant already. Im pretty sure I read or heard somewhere that once you notice the hairs starting to ripen that you have aprox 2 weeks left. can anyone confirm this?

Re: 5x5 Closet grow

if you can't check the trich's under a camera or mic or lense of some sort then yea its a good general rule that you have about two weeks from the start of ripening to flush em before you cut them. got any pics of them at four weeks of flowering? i'm a fan of mary jane's porn
