And on the temp thing as long as you dont gover 85f growth wont slow. I'm dealing with the same thing you are texas has been hot as shit so i know what ur dealing with. but it looks good man plants look happy. keep it up.
S'up Este
I got the 3000k blue & 6500k Red alternating right now. So far I'm impressed as hell with t5's
I thought I'd see some stretch, Its going to be very interesting to see what it flowers like.

If I can time it right, I can set up the garage for a winter grow & make it larger.

I have a lot more light than you do.
For only the first 12 days since seeds I had four 4' 6500k's T5's
Since then, I've added the other 4 3000k's
And its never been more than 4 inches from the tops.
The fan leaves are so fat that the inner branches are stretching to get out.
Its like, as if, its topping its self

You're at one end of the freaking spectrum, and I'm at the other!

You do have more lumens than I do, but I kept mine just as close until around day 30, then I ran out of head room.

Re: WW 1st grow in Texas Heat

DAy 22
I'm starving so this better be short.

ppms droping fast! must be 4 plants sharing 3.75 gal/14.2L
SAturday with new nutes i was 460ppm
Monday 310ppm
Today(wednesday) 230ppm in the morning & 185ppm tonight

All 4 get transplanted into real buckets this weekend.
I think I'm taking all 4 to maturity. I have no place yet for a mother. I'll start the next gro with new seeds, new strains?

One more trip to the Hydro Store and a little more engineering for the new layout.
I want to get a 2' x 4' tray to put everything in, for a little insurance against leaks

Help me
Question for ya ......Should I top them?????before or after the transfer?

Picture 1 Roots are huge

Picture 2 New buckets arrived & got fitted & tested today.

Re: WW 1st grow in Texas Heat

Hey I was wondering how you keep your temps down? My AC is having trouble keeping up and keeping things cool with temps outside in the 100's all day pretty much. I have a fan but i really don't know how else to keep it cool.
