I usually don't even cut anything, the leaves start yellowing and I just pull them off, the plant has already started to detach the leaves so they practically fall off. I have, however, been cutting off the tiny little branches that are too small to make any meaningful bud, and are shrouded by the canopy so they don't get any light anyways.

GDP buds



GDP is on the left, with the numerous, thinner pistils. The Blue Rhino is the one with the fewer, larger pistils. Kinda interesting having the two diff strains to be able to compare and contrast

The white cord is just from the thermometer probe, its the kind that has indoor/outdoor readings.

The Blue Rhino is yummy, though at this point the GDP is lookin a lot better.

I just picked up some Mother Of All Bloom and did a res change, can't wait to see how fat these buds get

Im trying to figure out how your ebb flow works man. The plants just sit right on the floor? Where do the roots go? I thought a ebb flow was like a dwc where the roots hang down.

The plants/roots sit in a tray that is made out of a Rubbermaid underbed box. There is Hydroton (expanded clay) in the tray. Below the tray (which sits on a shelf) is the reservoir, made out of a Rubbermaid tub (can't remember what size). The pump pushes the water solution up into the tray, which fills up to the height of the overflow tube, dumping into the reservoir. When the pump turns off the water empties back through it. Look at the very first pic with just one little clone for a clear pic

Yes i get that but im asking to the plants just sit right on the tray or are they hanging in net pots like a dwc grow? How deep is the hydroton? I wondering about how much room the roots have here, if they grow out or down? thanks man!
