Feminized Lowryder 2's - Second Grow

edit:this is my first time growing LRs

Ive been putting off doing this for about a week to snap some shots, but I here I finally am at the end of week 1.
This is an all CFL grow.
Soil mix: 1 scoop of perlite to 4 scoops of soil
I've got Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil in 2 gallon grow bags, Hesi nutes (right now I am only using root complex)
and Hygrozome.
My Watering Schedule:
Every four days, 1/4ml per cup of water Hesi Root Complex and one drop of Hygrozome per cup of water. 2 cups every watering.

Here's a pic of my original set up which was a huge financial mistake.

Thats a fifty dollar veg bulb and 80 dollar flower bulb.
The flower bulb is dead on half of the side...died when I was adjusting one day. pretty cool spark....not so cool on the wallet. Bummer cause they didnt even really need it yet...just some extra wattage in the box.
22 count 19 watt flowering bulbs are on their way (which I bought for 17 bucks on ebay) which is double the wattage of that 200 watter. RIP...

Dont ever buy big CFLs. Just get an HPS...or stick to a ton of tiny little CFLs in there. These big CFLs gave me problems with light bending and stretching until I finally got it set up right. So..big waste of money. Heres the bending I was talkin about: I followed some people's advice on here and added some dirt around on the sides so shes stapled up nice and straight and growin wonderfully.

Anyways here are my two little ladies. I have Big Lady and Little Lady, which are femmed Lowryder#2's. Little Lady's one leaf is turned a bit under, any idea why? I've not added nutes yet since I'm in some good soil, just root complex and hygrozome. Thats Little Lady.

Theres a shitty picture of Big Lady. Sorry about the angle Id have to take er out to et a good one...which I dont wanna do unless necessary. As you can see though shes got some big beautiful leaves

And the first pot pizza I've made, which is delicious. I recommend it man. Bout $4 to make (not including kief hah)

That snowman is cool as shit , I noticed the seeds as buttons and the stems as arms ... good idea .

Yeah your girls are looking good man . I'm interested to see how the LR2's do under cfl's , so I'm gonna keep track of this journal . I'm also growing LR2's (under a 400 hps) , they are almost at week 5 now . You will be amazed by how fast these things grow (if you haven't already grown them) . It's nice , in three weeks they have gone from little seedlings to mini-bushes with budding shoots everywhere .

Nice -- looking forward to following this grow. I always thought the LR's were just gimmicks, but after looking into it more I see that I was just wrong; people are growing some very, very respectable stuff with those seeds.

(And I've got a weird schedule this year where I'm out of town every few months for a week, so these might actually be my only realistic option for a while.)

LRs are definitely the way to go fer me atleast. So far they are growing beautifully in this soil and I only check them out when I turn the ligths on/off. They have gotten substantially bigger and its only been like 2 days since my first post I think. I'll take pics tomorrow. thanks a lot amigo

K so I'm kickin it man these girls are goin wild! I almost forgot to water em so the light wa sno or an extra half hour whole I was... so what? theyre fuckin hardy its lookin like.

Update!
All these first pics are of "Little Lady" which surpassed her sister in growth quite a bit.









I posted the brown leaf problem in under sick plants (my humidity dropped from 50 to 20% for two days so some leaf growth died off)

These are shitty pics of the "Big Lady" since shes in the back.





Im at 1 month and 2 days so theyre lookin good as far as growth Im just worried that the light burn and lack of humidity might fuck with my yield

anyways, about 3 weeks till harvest

it looks like things are coming along nicely over here though. i think a good flush and then letting them dry out between watering should help a lot.

This is Little Lady three days after the flush (today, day 37)
Shes at 11.5 inches now, on to her eleventh node.

This is her a week ago when I initially realized I had a pH problem. To me shes unlocked now but Im not sure. Input?

These are all various spots where flowers should be....





and last but not least, where a massive cola will hopefully appear out of thin air by day 60^

Anybody know why they aren't flowering yet?? Cause it bloody well wreaks of chronic in my room.

Also im up to 323 watts in flowering bulbs (too bad I killed my 200 watter)

Hey what's up man . Looks like your grow is coming along good . Definitely little bushes now .

How many hours of light are they getting a day ? And how much wattage is being used on them ? They are obviously behind , but don't let that stress you out . Really , that probably just means that you will be harvesting later than the average 60 day period . I've read some where that they had to wait until week 10-11 to harvest theirs , and yet mine were ready for harvest right around week 8 ... but I had more light .

So I think it really just depends on how much light they are recieving , and how intense that light is . My plants were showing sex by day 13 , but that's probably because they were under 400 watts of HID . I would guess that more light = faster growth cycle . So if I were you I would not plan on harvesting by day 60 , it will probably be a couple weeks after that .

Anyways man , good luck with your grow and I hope your ladies start budding out here soon . Take it easy .

P.S. - Are any preflowers showing yet ? I think I saw some in your pics .

theyre on 18/6 under 323 watts of CFL.
Mann I wish I could use an HID definitely makes sense that it would lend itself to better growth. too bad I only have enough room for CFLs
too bad its gonna take me longer to harvest but oo well...im stoked for those nuggets
