Afghan Skunk(Closet) PICS

I start this picture journal at day 18 of my grow (6th Grow).................

Setup:
4ft x 2ft x 5.5ft wardrobe

SEEDS:
2x Afghan skunk seeds (can’t remember exact name)

NUTE’S:
BioBizz All-Mix soil
Plagron Start-up (Veg stage)
BioBizz BioGrow (Veg stage)
BioBizz BioBloom (Flowering stage)
BioBizz TopMax (Flowering stage)
Plagron PhytAmin (For misting)<<< I highly recommend this but it’s not a necessity.

LIGHTS:
4 X 36W 4FT Fluro tubes
400w MH
400w Hps

Air:
2 x Pc Fans down low (intake)
1 x standard household extractor in top (exhaust)
1 x oscillating fan (circulation)

Temps:
HID Lights on - 78-85F
Lights off- 68-72F

Humidity:
Unknown

Water:
Tap water (Ph 7.2) left sitting in open container for 24hrs and brought to room temp, ph balanced after nutes are added.

Other:
Horticare Ph metre
Ph up (rarely needed but good to have)
Ph down (always needed)


THE GROW:
I started seeds off by putting them in a half filled glass of water (Ph 5.9) and then left them in a warm area.
I chose a hot-press in the house but anywhere will do, ie: near a radiator, back of computer , grow room.

Once seeds had sunk (took these 5hours but can be more) i took them out and continued with the paper towel method of germination you can read about that HERE.


Within 24hrs the roots were showing out about ½ inch so they were good to go into soil.

I had already put soil into small pots and pre-soaked with water (6.2ph).
I placed seeds ½ inch into soil, root down and covered it back in....I then lightly sprayed them with the same water (6.2ph) i had used to pre-soak soil.
I covered each pot with a piece of card and left them in grow room were its nice and warm.

Once the babies had poked thru the soil, I uncovered them and put them about 2inches under the fluros.

From the 2nd day i gave them a taste under the MH approx 50cm and start lightly tipping them to promote strength....gradually increasing movement as the days went by until they were strong enough(2weeks) to have a decent fan close by.

I kept the soil moist (light misting) for the 1st week and put them under MH every 2nd day gradually getting closer.
I also start misting with Phytamin once a week (not under HID of course)

week2 i let the soil dry out and then gave a feed of Plagron Start-up.....Startup bottle says to use 7ml/1ltr , so i used 1ml/500ml as the plants were still quite young.


Yesterday (day17) i flushed both plants with water (6.3ph) followed by a feed using the Start-up and BioGrow to keep up with nitrogen demand.
I also topped 1 of them and will do the same with the other in a day or 2. Read about topping HERE

These are the 1st pics i’ve taken but will keep a constant record on here for the remainder of the grow.
