Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

White Widow Man: I would love to see these buds as well. Not quite there yet though, but it will come. For now here are some pics. The two smaller ones are the JH, but they were so much smaller to begin with, and growth is really starting to take off. The larger, more bushy ones are the Snowreck.

The JH are are really interesting plants...so far I only have a 3 prong leaf structure even though one set is really huge and would figure there would be 5 or 7 leaves. Its kinda cool. Also, I have a slight burn on the tips of my plants. I haven't fed at all yet, and am trying to figure out what to do with that situation. I suppose I'll just wait until they tell me they need to eat. Any ideas about the burning, or a good feeding program hit me up.

Right on, thanks for looking in everyone! Happy New Year!

Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

Nice grow space , LoY!! Plants are looking good and healthy overall. Am I the only that thinks the plants are stretching a bit too much? Not a bad thing, but they could be bushier. How far is yer HPS bulb from the tips of the plants? I've been keeping my 400w MH bulb about 9" from my plants, checking every day for heat... no issues so far and mine are quite bushy... Just a thought for ya.

Looking forward to watching yer progress! Happy New Year!!

Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

Hey about your burning, I think your soil could maybe just be a little to hot. I have my plants in a different soil but I have also never fed and have burnt the tips of my leaves as well. Good Looking grow but I agree with ggman on the stretch look. Good luck

Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

Hey everybody, its been a while. Things are going well.

GGman and GGmallow: There definitely was some stretching happening. But the plants have grown so quickly that I just haven't moved the light and they are beginning to produce shorter nodes. On account of the burning...the soil temp is not that hot...and the new growth on the plants is not burned at all. I have a feeling it had to do with the transplanting.

Oh, and that joint definitely made me cough.

I have still not fed yet. This soil is f'n incredible. I have a feeling that I am not going to start feeding until flowering, but we will see how it goes. I'll just let the plants tell me.

Everything is going well...and the plants have exploded. Here are some pics.

Thanks for looking everybody!

Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

Looking a lot better. I do not know if you misunderstood me but when I mean soil being hot I am referring to it having plenty of nutrients to burn your leaves, not the temperature. I think your right about the nutrients and not having to use them until flowering. I have no used any yet and I am over 45 days old, actually I am planning on it next watering I think. Looking good peace.

Re: 400w Jack Herer Indoor Organic

I see tiny white dots on the leaves...damn, spider mites. Applied healthy dose of neem and dish soap mixture today. Hopefully caught it early enough to save everything. Word up...will have some pics up of the leaves when i get a chance.
