Just some info, I have been working with hotshots pest strips for 2 grows now and they have worked wonderfully. No taste diff or anything since it doesn't touch the plants. They just hang there and the mites breath it in during the nighttime when fans are off/lower. Ever since I have got these I have had no probs with mites, and it was my only and largest prob in the past. I can say that they arent effective if you already have a large infestaion, but if there are small numbers or you just started fresh, they will make sure they never come back.

I also use and can vouch for HotSpot pest strips.

I was gifted some clones last year (Bubba Kush) and all had whiteflies and mites. Blah! Oh well it was the thought that counts.

I would not however recommend using them in your flower area to late into the cycle. I keep one in the veg room and replace it monthly. My flower room only gets a strip when flowers are younger than 4 weeks as the device is "nuclear" and pesticide is released into the environment.

Because of not being able to use the strips during late flowering I had to stall the whole process costing me a couple pounds due to missed harvest. Again BLAH!

I did however get them both under control and have seen no signs of pest since second week of using.

Well personally I get them right at home depot or Lowes for like 7-9 $ a piece. I double up on what the package says at the least (2 in each room). But ya can get them at a plethora of places online including ace hardware 12 packs for 100$ or so. Here is a link for single ones though.

Though just to be sure I let any residue that the plant may have pulled in with co2 consumption get purged back out in the last 2 weeks in case it may have some negative affect I can't notice. man i wouldn't run poison in your grow unless you absolutely have to.

I absolutely hate spider mites with all the fiber in my being...so yes I do recommend them. Mites are the only damn problem I ever have and they have practically driven me crazy in previous grows I keep them in my grow at all times except the last 2 weeks of flower. Though it is a chemical based insecticide, it is very safe(lol). I also raise/breed snakes, and though they are a diff mite, snakes can get them too. These are the same strips used IN the living quarters of the snakes to safely rid them of mites. The shit is so weak about the only thing it does affect is the mites. hehe it honestly took me way to long to realize these would be great for a garden cause I hadn't put the 2 together. I have actually been using these things for years but just in the past couple grows looked into it for spider mites. But in the end it is about locatiin too. I live in the boondies so all I have to do is be outside for a few min to have some of these fuckers jump on me and get into my grow when I get there. Even if I change my clothes they make it in somehow.grrrrr.lol.

i got my Co2 controller yesterday!

i was up all night playing around with it lol..

i'm gonna try and set it up tonight, which involves emptying the tent, moving it, installing a second vortex fan and cutting a new exhaust hole.
i am very excited! I'll take pics of all the girls while they're outside of the tent.

BTW my co2 PPM is running at around 500, i'm gonna let it run at 1500 i think and see what happens.

I'm also adding the Larry's, cheese and 2 x Sour Diesel to flower..

glad to hear you got your co2 controller man, i really wanna see what 1500 ppm of co2 will do the phenos you have. that should be a trip, especially with them SD, how much ppm have you previously ran? and did you take care of your mite problem, ive seen the damage those devil things cause and i couldnt dare think that your garden could be infected. well hope all is green and well.

yo man.. yeah there are no mites as far as i can tell.

the only time i used co2 in the oast, i didn't have any sort of monitor and the room wasn't really sealed.. so i think i just wasted it tbh.
