2nd Grow - DP's Feminised Euforia - Organic

Well I have begun my new grow. Well I began it a few weeks ago, today is week 3 since the seedlings broke the soil. Some things have changed this time around, but not much. I have veg nutes this time, still using the same 400w HPS and good old 3 gallon pots. Thought I'd squeeze another grow in before the summer temperatures were too much to deal with. I've had these seeds since my last grow and have been very excited to try them out as their specs seems fuckin brilliant.

87.5% Sativa, 12.5% Indica
18% THC
7 Weeks to flower

I thought 7 weeks sounded very optimistic and I've spoken to a few people who've grown this and they tell me that 8 weeks is a solid bet. It will be interesting to see how these ladies perform.

I'd like to say that there have been no problems so far but there have been, there's some yellowing on the edges of new growth which I've never seen before and I don't know what it could be, so any suggestions? Once again we will return to my shite camera and photography skills. But once again all help is very, very much appreciated!

Here we go with the shite pictures but please note that I was taking them in the dark except for a little incandescent lamp for me to see so the orangeness on some of the pictures is very misleading.

Here's a picture of the yellowing/paling of the new growth, any suggestions?

I'm optimistic about this grow because with my last grow I had to chop them early due to security issues (which didn't even fucking materialise

)

This time I will be able to grow it to completion and should have some potent smoke at the end. Wish me luck!

sounds like a good setup man.
the yellowing looks like some kinda of nitrogen or the beginning of a iron deficiency.
use some basic plant food.
or some veg nutes with high nitrogen.
then give them about a week to get better.

I think I'll give them some Alga-Grow on their next watering.

Are the dosage guides on nutes based on a 1000w HID? I'm confused about this, it's even more confusing when using organic nutrients.

Also - I think Dutch Passion may have been confused when I asked for information about this strain. The leaves look rather chunky for an 87.5% sativa. Anyone else agree

looks to me as if you gave to much food...

I would...

1.Flush em (PUT 3 TIMES SIZE OF CONTAINER SO 9 GALLONS OF WATER THREW EACH ONE)

2 after that dries out I would feed at 1/4 strength what ever nutrients your using says to apply. If there is any brown spotting from the bottom of the plant; the lower/lowest fan leaves you should apply some epsome salts or some sort of Cal mag supplement. I use botanicares Cal mag in veg and man this shit rocks ass, i will never grow with out that shit again.

4. if no browning just water till the lower fan leafs start to yellow and fade in color. Once you see this (AS SOON AS YOU SEE THIS) give 1/4 strength nutes.

Aye cheers man, brown spotting is beginning on the lowest fan leaves. I'm hitting the town today so I'll pop into the grow shop and get some Cal Mag. I had brown spots in my last grow too so this will hopefully be the answer to that problem! Cheers once again man

Damn, I ended up not buying that CalMag because I took some acid before I left the house and got a little pre-occupied the whole day. I went and ate some chicken and went to the forest instead of going to the grow shop.

Gave them feed last night and in the time it took me to sleep they had a little spurt. Will be beginning flowering either this Thursday or next Thursday, maybe sometime in between. I want to make sure they have a nice little stockpile of nitrogen to last them through flowering. I'm really excited about getting to try some of this stuff out as it seems class.

i got the same temp meter--- these leaves are friggin MASSIVE OMFG! my strain is more indica- yours is more sative- and the leaves look the oposite? either way shit looks impressive

Nope, I ain't topping any of these plants, I topped 3 out of 4 of my last plants and only one responded well to it. Also - it took me 7 hours to harvest the fuckers.

I've germinated another seed which I'm going to stick in there, it's from my friend he calls it erm.. 'Top 55' lol. He crossed his Top 44 with one of the skunk 11 seeds I gave him. So let's hope that it's female and that it's decent smoke. I hope the Top 44 will have lowered the flowering time enough on it because I can't keep this grow for 11 weeks of flowering.

I've started the 12/12 cycle tonight, 31 days from breaking the soil. It took a good bit of tinkering with the timer for me to remember how to work it but it's done. That seed from my mate got fucked up because I dropped its container and the seedling fell out, I couldn't find it then I realised I had stepped on it. I have put another one in germination which will be an experiment of 12/12 from seed. Let's hope I don't stand on it too.

Vegging pictures aren't very exciting so I suppose I'll update with pictures once flowering is swinging, however the nice sativa heritage is really coming through much more.. May Lakshmi bless me with a bountiful harvest

I fucked up like last week. I set the heater wrong for the 12/12 cycle and it was 105-110 degrees in there for 12 hours. 2 of the plants looked really rough in the morning but soon sprung back up. I'm worried because I think this may have stressed them majorly!

In this 4th week they should be starting to pile on some mass, crystals are well underway but the mass isn't coming, especially off the two plants that were rough. Do you think the heat could have fucked them up, put them into 'I'm going to die' mode? This sunday it will be about 4 weeks from harvest and I just really hope I haven't fucked up this grow.

Any advice from your experience people? Cheers

same happened to me with the heater and a few buds were effected but not that bad. Just water the hell out of them and see what they do over a few days time.
