nutes

Yes I've heard the nutes enclosed with the aerogarden are bad, I'll likely go with
Advanced Nutrients like you, their web site is:

not sure which one to pick.... maybe I'll go with Miracle Grow

DWC ..coco medium
Thalassa Mix - Sea Salts from the ocean...1700ppm
PBP bloom...150ppm
2 tablespoons of molasses .. mixed in 3 gallons of water

600watts hps..
18/6 3 week
12/12 since then ..around 50 days old..

Premature bud was surprisingly potent.. It has a sweeter/fruitier taste then the "normal ak47" i am used to, normally ak got a super spicy flavor, least the stuff i am used to. When i held the hit in i got a headrush which is normal for "potent" weed.. It has a sativa like high for sure, that last quite long its def good stuff, leaves a nice taste in your mouth for like 30 mins after a joint. I can't wait for the final product after a few weeks and after cure..

Harvested Some

So, today is 10 weeks. I have cut a few buds off here and there to sample. I put them in a food dehydrator, just for a quick sample. Very nice. I thought since it hadn't been properly cured it would be a little harsh, but it was very smooth actually. It was a little more of a head high than I like, but that's because those buds were harvested way too early. But, still a nice, strong high.

Today, I harvested another branch and hung to dry. The rest will come down later this week. I am going to let the rest "cook" a little bit longer.

As you can see, it is near the end, the fan leaves are spent. The trichs are mostly clear and some cloudy. I like it when they are a little more cloudy...probably by Friday the rest will be ready to come down.

Here's a pic of what is left of the plant and also of the freshly manicured branch.

No, they start flowering about two weeks from seed. A clone would be a waste of time.

Hey, I am planning to put the aerogrow(following the exact same set up as kbfl) inside a computer case enclosed with mylar. Do you think i'll still need the side lamps?

Thanks!

Started flowering about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am surprised at how healthy it is. The roots are extremely healthy also. I have kept the lighting at 20/4 the entire grow. Added an airstone to the resevoir and am using Advanced Nutrients. Anyway, just an experiment to see if the AG would grow something. I am actually impressed so far, I mean for a tabletop grow. We'll see what happens.
Check your PM's.

I don't think so. My side lights are very small and I don't think they contributed very much at all. Also, I just had mine in an open room, no mylar. So, you should be fine, as long as you have the 3 bulb model of the AG. I have never grown in a closed area, what are you going to do for air circulation?
