Question clones

Hey Doc,

I Have been reading the thread since day one, big fan. Your set-up has inspired me to totaly rethink my growing aproach. I have gone from growing 4 plants as big as i could get em every 4 months or so to a much smaller Sog set-up. My only concern is that my clone survival rate is less than 50%..... so i was wondering if you could please post a step-by-step guide on cloning.

Thanks
McKenzie

very inspiring thread Drbud. Ive read this thread several times and cant wait to start me grow shelves. i have kids and live in a housng development, i work for em so im not too worried about them fucking with me. i have 2 boxes now but im waiting for me first attempt to finish flowering, a rushed botched grow that left me with two 3" clones. anyhow +rep

i did not expect the cabin to look like that, it looks as if it was built without saws or hammers. i guess u just tore trees from the ground w/ your bare hands and stacked them, looked @ your wife and grunted "house".

I can't understand why it took 111 posts for this guy to get banned. I was a carpenter 10 years ago and although i built traditional and custom homes i know what goes into this "cabin" type home.Especially if you dont use a crane or hoist, needing to beat the first winter snow, and did'nt the DR. say it was built by him and A friend?!!Ill trade anyday!!

Sorry about the dickhead man, they're all around. check this out

I'm from cali and have an RX card, went to the store just up the street that gets most of my business today, and they had just got robbed!!, shit sucks man, these are like total hippies just tryin to get ppl some good smoke at a good price.

So it goes to show, no matter how noble your cause, like you tryin too spread some knowlegde and answer some ppls questions or these guys tryin to get some ppl some dank nugs, there's gonna be stupid ppl around to fuck it up, call it genetics, bad parenting, call it what you want, just dont call me late for dinner

Anyway, the cabin looks great, and if your really livin like you say you are you get the utmost props form me and the VAST majority of ppl out here. I know props arent what your looking for but nonetheless forget about the jerk we all respect you

That being said, Im following your thread for educational and practical use i.e. I want to have a continual harvest with bon sai moms and I thought that was what this thread was about. If so I have a question I have asked you once before but Ill try to again.

If u dont want me to ask you for advice on this its cool just let me know;

K, Do you think this plant is ready to top and start training as a bon sai mom??
She's my best plant IVe grown (noob) and I dont want to mess her up but I think shes at the height to top for a bon sai. Let me know and please let us know how ur grow is going. Keep on keepin on and brush the haters off ya

heres the plant as of yesterday, to top or not to top??? Its a birds eye view sorry but shes like 8 inches tall and uve been growing for 20 yrs right so just an estimated guess PLZ

Ask away man I have just been really busy...
I luv this time of year
Cuttin wood.....
Bow Huntin'.....Deer,Bear, & lions
Been seein' some Jacks and Cohos in the river .....no Kings yet

K, Do you think this plant is ready to top and start training as a bon sai mom??
She's my best plant IVe grown (noob) and I dont want to mess her up but I think shes at the height to top for a bon sai.

Are there any more clones of this strain.....if not lets clone it B4 we start bein mean to her....just in case ( I luv backups)

heres the plant as of yesterday, to top or not to top???

No topping.......
Do you have a SMALL pair of Scissors ....Very small "Fly Tying" or Manicuring Scissors
They need to be very small and sharp

Start cutting EVERY leaf that it makes from now on for a while Every one as soon as they are as big as your pinky finger nail or smaller just push them down with you finger and cut the lil' stem....save these they are nice in a Bong

I'll post some pics later this week end (of how to make the cuts)....I'm not at home(right now) ...I'm at a friends place Down the Mtn. in "Town"...lol

No we left the stumps....
They are Notched and stacked quite tightly...very lil' *****ing was required
The work was done by Myself and 2 friends...the logs were cut with my 029....skidded with my Samurai and put into place with a "Block & Tackle" and the Zuk for power
If ya sink 4 posts 25 feet tall at the corners it is pretty E-Z to build once ya' git' the hang of it.

let me know what I should do, shes growin pretty crazy and I dont want her too tall.

in the og bon sai thread the moms are pretty short so let me know

{EDIT} this is from the OG Bon Sai Thread

. . . Now we will deal with every aspect of the care and maintenance of Mums including root and branch pruning as well as the renovation on an old mother well past her sell by date.

"Tired of huge unwieldy mothers that take up too much space? As I've shown before, a fully established bonsai mum only takes 8 inches x 8 inches."

This bonsai mother, if well fed, produce 10 to 30 good cuttings every 14 days under an HID or every 20 days under fluorescent shop light. This means a 4 ft x 2 ft shoplight with 18 Mums, could produce an output of over 9500 cuttings a year.

I'm sure uve seen the thread but just so u know what Ive been thinking about.

thnx again happy hunting

awesome thanx for the response kung fu master I shall study it and report back

{EDIT} can u explain to me (and others reading) why I want to do this instead of topping like in the OG thread???

Im not doubting you only want to understand better.

{EDIT} yeah that shit looks scary lol. Question, my plant has one vertical shoot where the one in your example seems to have multiple shoots that you trimmed down. Can you take a look at my plant and let me know what you think as far as that goes?? it seems like ur plant was LSTd or SOMETHING to get all those vertical shoots.

let me know and thanks again for all the info, hope all is well on the mountain top.
