Hey Agrade, It is just IMHO but at the bottom of the plants there are a couple of side shoots with little shade leaves in them that, if it were me, i would pinch off. They will not be getting any light (or very little) and they will be drawing energy away from the main growth. But hey its up to you.
Still growing, shes like a Christmas tree! Feeding her 2 litres of water every other day and starting on Bloom feed this coming Friday. 3/4 strength (4ml approx) in 2 litres of water) then 2 litres of water every other day. I may take the dead leaves off I've also read this is good, most likely start when I change to Bloom feed. Here are pics as promised... (keep an eye out for my next grow, Auto Anubis. I'll also be mothering a Dutch Passion Skunk #11 alongside, ready for some photoperiod shit)
Auto Anubis looks interesting once I wanted to get seeds but changed my mind for some reason. Would like to see your grow mate maybe I`ll try it too.
Yeah I'll be doing a journal after this has finished doing her thing. I'll keep you posted. In regards to the dead leaves, do i just take the leaves off, or the stalk too?
Yo everyone, So...I've just fed her 12ml Bloom feed in 3 litres of water. I know I said 4ml in 2 litres in my last post, but was advised that it View attachment 1221728 would have been wrong due to her size. Feeding her 2 litres of water every day now and will feed her on full strength nutes this coming friday. She's still growing, and I'm having to start to train her to grow outwards so she doesn't crash into the light! I've chopped off some of the dead leaves and she showed no signs of stress which is good. Here are some more pics ...enjoy!
How do you get a plant to stop growing towards the lightsource? just put some form of weight on it light that thermometer you have on it?
yeah i hooked that thermometer on there. Iv also tied some of the stems to the frame of my tent with cotton to pull them outwards and then they will grow towards the light again. just anything you can hook on to weigh them down so they sorta grow outwards and then upwards, therefore, using as much space as you possibly can. This has now opened more room for the other buds to get more light, so hopefully will have a fair few top buds. try looking up "plant training", there will be loads of info there. Thanks for the post!
does anyone recommend how often I should add nutrients to my feed. I'm watering 2 litres every day. Is a week too long to wait before each nutrient dose? she's starting to turn a bit yellow in places. However, I have heard this is normal as she's putting all her energy into buds, is this true? She's still growing, people are saying its the biggest autoflower they've seen. So many bud sites there. Will post pictures soon
In the end she Will start using the nutes from those lower leaves to feed the buds and they will fall off normally.. So u heard right Sent from my Nexus 4 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Here are more pics........ I am feeding 2 litres of water every day. and now nutes every 4-5 days, full strength + magnesium sulphate. This is 6ml per litre of vitalink coir bloom. Giving her around 22 hours a day of light which she seems to love. I'm having to train due to growing into the light, there are a few burnt leaves but the buds are fine and it's all safe and tied down now. its been 6 weeks since sprout, starting to see THC and darkening of the leaves (purple/black). Not long to go now guys, il be giving you a smoke report before you know it
Looking good bro! I will definately be following your thread. Seeing as your tooling up, can I suggest a "sodastream" - that's what it's called in south africa- to make your own seltzer water. I use this every 2/3 waters and regularly as a foliar feed as a means of C02. I'm also on my 1st auto grow, don't know how to post links but check out "virgin growers blow by blow weed show"
Tokoloshe, I'll check at that post and I'll do a bit of research into the sodastream. Thanks for the post
its one plant its 7 weeks on friday. Just fed last bloom feed then flushing for another week this coming friday. Any ideas on which is the best way to cure? Really starting to smell of sharp citrus lemon. Really really nice. I'll keep the pictures coming!!
