90w led Ebb&Flo DIY !1st grow journal!

hey the names Arron (or lov4led as it says over<<<there) this is my first grow journal...

-4 clones (2 Purple Urkle,1 Og #18 x Skunk, and 1 Burmese Kush)

-in a Ebb&Flo i made myself (1 16 gallon rubbermaid container(Res)& 1 7 gallon "under the bed" rubbermaid container(flood table) with 4 (2 7/8") holes cut out for my 3" net pots

-90w led ufo tri spectrum 3w chips 45 total (7red;1blue;1orange)

-Using technaflora Recipe 4 Success Nutes(started out with 1/3 strength)

-the 2 Purple urkle are being LsT'd & the...OGxSkunk and Burmese Kush are being Scrog'd

- Sharks breath

well when i used Post image.com i selected adult content rather than family and lets just say there was some pretty bad ADs

Hey Arron- welcome to GC!

I also use the recipe for success from Technaflora (in soil though) with great results. The company says that these nutrients can go for either soil or soil-less grows.

Another thing we have in common is LED grow lights. I love mine (although I am using 4, 90w [1w chips] UFO's. I am concerned for you. That light will probably work just fine, but probably for only 1 plant, maybe 2 at tops, once you are in flower. It will probably veg all of them up without a problem, but your light needs increase during flowering.

Just something to be aware of.

Oh lol by the way the plants are a week old (yesterday) out of an aeroponics cloner
i had 5 and was planing on using 1 for a mother plant but she(og #18xSkunk) died from PH problems...cuz i didnt get my meter in time

Very nice! I was just looking at both of these panels, so I'm very interested to see this test.

im thinking of using cfls(4 power strips with 3 socket plugs on each and Y sockets in them..holding 24 total blubs) i can get a 6 pack of soft white CFL's for...14w=97cents 24w=$1.97 so i think im gunna just go with the 14w so that will be 336 watts for like 70 bucks gotta love walmart

Update Day 10: i moved the light about 6inches closer,changed my RES for the first time(not to bad, also add a tiny bit of BC bloom and Awesome blossom because i am going to start flowering at day 20!) but i had to remove my Scrog, because i couldnt lift my flood chamber off of my res to change it should have built a table for my flood chamber to sit on..O well live and learn. im gunna start Lst on the 2 that were in the Scrog(the OG#18xSkunk has already been bent and tide down once) i also cover'd my flood chamber with black garbage bags for now but i think i am gunna get another lid and paint it with primer then black then white.......ill; be adding pic in about 20 min my camera is dead from the last time i used it(i left it on opps)

Lookin good.. Love the dwc setup. I want to do something like that with a smaller res. But great ideas and I have to support LED UFO's

thanks for al the support but its a ebb and flo setup my res floods the container that holds the plants roots 4 times a day it seems to be growing pretty quick when i start flowering ill be addin hanging power strips that will have 3 plug in light sockets w/ a Y sockets on each for 6 CFL's per strip because i can goto walmart and get 6 flowering 13 watt blubs for 97 cents i want to add 4 of these strips in so that should be 24..13w cfls should be around 310 xtra watts ill add 1 strip in every 15 days or ill add 2 blubs in every 5 days cuz i have found that plants like to have more and more light as they grow instead of giving them their max light all at once

sounds like u have great plan going.. like to see what the outcome will be...stubbed..

Hey man, just stoppin to see what you have cooking. And it looks taste! What kind of ph meter are you using for your solution? As you know, I'm having some ph issues...

works great i got some calibration solution also when i ordered it, calibrated it 2 times and since then its been good i test it to make sure its readings are right on about every 3 days

and i keep my ph level at 5.8-6.0 and light proofing ur stuff and using peroxide helps keeping it balanced

thanks man ill be adding pic every 3 days of the grow(unless i get lazy then it will be every 5)so tomorrow ill have some more Pics for everyone thinking about putting them into 24 hours of darkness on the 27th, i guess we'll have to see how thing go
