So I decided that I should share with you guys my first try at growing cannabis, the reason why we are all here! I got the seeds from a friend 20 days ago, and they were exactly 20 seeds.

I did the water cup method for 1 day, the ones that didn't sink were eliminated (I think 2)

Then wet cotton in dark, warm environment for 3 days. (All seeds but 1 germinated)

Then I went ahead and put the germinated seeds in soilless mix I bought, in cut milk/juice packages, to work as pots XD (I drilled holes don't worry!)

And so, we come to today, 2 more plant didn't break out of the soil, and 1 got really beat down on a rainy night (I have them outdoors since i planted them)

That leaves us with 15 healthy-looking (I think!) plants. Now we wait to see sex, then eliminate males, and transplant males to holes filled with the same mix as the "pots".

I'm growing guerrilla, and this is my first time, so any help, or constructive criticism is welcomed!

Yay someone cares! hahaha. I dug holes on the ground and filled it with the same mix as they are in right now. The spot is perfect, cause it's maybe 6m x 6m wide space, with big bushes all around and it gets sun all day! I gotta be careful to cut males now, but 30 days still seems too soon, I mean, they aren't that big, still seedlings anyways... Thanks for the help!

That's soo weird. I have never seen a sprout with 3 leaves like that. Maybe it's mutated and it'll turn out to be super dank!

It is mutated, it's called tri-foliage, and I've 3 like that out of 15 plants. Though people have been telling me that that will probably be a male, or if a female less yield. I really don't know, but it looks so cool right? XD

Hell yeah! Keep us updated and i'll be following because i'm interested to see how those 3 plants turn out. Also, i'm on my first grow too and i'm doing it in the woods nearby.. Just some mids. Hopefully i do a good job and it turns out to be some decent bud. Either way i see it as mostly just experience to be ready to grow good strains that you need to pay for

Dude, you're doing exactly the same as me, except mine isn't even mids LOL. But I'm growing in woods too, just an experience and if all goes well next year is Jack Herer for real XD. Glad you'll be following my grow.

Isn't even mids? What do you mean by that?

I wouldn't start fertilizing until they're AT LEAST past their 2nd or 3rd leaf set, especially if you're using chemicals and not something organic. I got some cheap organic tomato fertilizers and started supplimenting the soil when my plant was on it's 4th leaf set. Idk exactly when to start either, but this worked fine for me. Also it's almost impossible to burn your plant with organics, the organic compunds provide food for healthy microbes and bacteria in the soil, and organically grown bud tastes way better!

Shit, I wanted to do organic, but then I rushed and bought some fertilizer before I even had the seeds (!) and I don't think it's organic, but okay I'll wait for more sets of leafs. thanks

It's great to know people can learn something from me. All the knowledge I have came from Jorge Cervantes DVD and other little things everywhere. I'll update regularly, and I want to check your grow too, tell me when you've posted it. As always thanks!

The forum was out, but hey I've got some pics. Although these are from tuesday, not today, they are the most recent I have. Maybe Sunday I'll check them out again. So, here they are...

I'm kind of worried about my babies. Because I've been busy I'll only be able to water them sunday, and tuesday was the last time I did it. The sun has been strong, and 25 degres Celsius. God, I hope they are alright. Please make it, daddy is coming!!

I had a triploid too on the sour d grow I actually pulled about six oz dried off it. Once it got a ways into veg you couldn't even tell it was a mutant. It came out awesome too so grow that sucker good because due to the third leaf your gonna have three branches at every node rather than two branches which means MORE HERBS BROSKI. I felt like I hit the lotto

Just make sure when you water em they get a shitload because on a hot day in full swing those girls could drink like five gallons in a day. What the water source there. Hopefully a close by creek or stream. Water is like eight pounds a gallon. Water is heavy as fuck to carry. Maybe you could borrow a quad and ride five gallon buckets of water up to the spot

Hopes the same happens to my mutants then XD It's good to hear from someone who has already dealt with this.

I have a river flowing near by, but I can't go to the spot except by foot, and that itself is difficult XD But I'm not alone in this, so me and 2 guys go there and bring as much water as possible each time. It's not really that much work, I'm just concerned because I haven't gone there since Tuesday. Tomorrow is the day, I'll bring more fotos then.
