Holmes HT17MGY Mini Oscilating Tower fan
Flower- Active Air ACDF4 165cfm 4" exhaust

Size of space growing in: Veg - 1'3" x 1'8" x 3'11" chamber of a veg cab
Flower - 2'7"x 2'7" x 5' GrowLab 80L tent

Growing methods and plan of action:

This is a perpetual grow. I recently harvested Blueberry, http://forum.grassci...-blueberry.html and put another BB cutting in the tent. I have 8 weeks minimum to slowly veg 2 SLH plants in the box while the BB finishes up. Being that the SLH is a sativa I plan on topping at least 3 times depending on how much they stretch and doing some aggressive LST'ing to keep them low and bushy.

For flower I'm going to choose the best looking of the 2 and SCROG it in the tent. Hopefully they will be bushy plants that I can create a nice canopy under the screen if I do another week of veg and during the 2 week stretch of flowering. This is working well with my current BB grow but its also an indica with fairly tight node spacing. I'm thinking it may be a challenge with the SLH, just going to have to give it a shot. I yielded 82g's off the last BB harvest going for at least 3Z's with SLH. I'm very excited about growing this strain, any comments are appreciated!

Day 36 veg - I chose the best looking and put her in the tent under the 250. She was topped 6 days ago the new growth is looking nice. Going to give her a couple days to acclimate and let her roots build up a bit more, then I'll xplant to a 7 gallon smart pot.

Hey GC
I transplanted to the 7 gallon last Monday 3/13 and she's taken to it really well. Nice growth, seems to b a very hearty plant. So far she has only been fed from what's in the FFOF, I'm going to start her off on 15ml Big Bloom and 5ml of Grow Big at the next watering.
The past couple days she has been starting to poke through the screen, I'm going to let the colas grow up a couple inches then pull them back through rather then not letting them pass the screen at all. This is my first real attempt at planning a scrog from start to finish, any feedback, thoughts, whatever are welcome! Day 45 of veg!

Just some pics of what's going on in my cabinet. I've been reading up on bonsai mothers and and have planted several feminized strains that I plan on keeping bonsai'd in the top chamber. There are two 1 month old blueberry clones that I have been keeping bonsai'd in there right now. The plan being to keep about 7 or 8 mothers and SOG 4-5 different strains at once in the tent.

Day 59 veg

I wheeled the lady out today for some sun and a photo op. Gave her first dose of Open Sesame. Going to flush and flip the switch in one week. Can't wait to see this bitch morph!

Everything looks good to me man

It is very similar to the tent I had, except the movable scrog(which I really like)
Your next harvest though I would probably do 2 plants in there, When I did just the one in my tent the veg took forever to fill the screen. So if you did 2 you could potentially cut the veg in half making it maybe a month quicker to the chop.

Phyking Posted Image yeah you're not kidding about the long veg. My plan is actually to remove the screen altogether and lst 4 different strains in 3 gallon air pots with a much shorter veg. I'm sure I won't yield nearly as much as the scrog but I'll have some variety and it will coincide well with what is going on in my veg box. I'm bonsai'ing 7 different strains to take cuttings off.

Anyway, Phyking - I flipped 3 days ago, do you think it was to early? I'm not sure if I jumped the gun or not. I'd say half the screen remained open at the flip. I've read SLH tripples in size. If I did do it to soon it's not the end of the world that I don't completley fill up the screen, just wondering what you think.

Update time :D
She's chugging right along, I'm doing my best to keep a consistent rhythm during the stretch, wheeling the plant out once a day to adjust tops, tuck leaves and trimming every other day. I'm taking an average of 8-10 leaves off per trim session, except yesterday, I removed 22 leaves to expose a bunch of new sites that literally showed up over night :) I should be able to feed her one more dose of Open Sesame before the stretch is done, so right on track with the FF schedule. I kept the MH bulb in this whole first week of 12/12, I've read that helps cut down on stretch and makes tighter node spacing. Going to put the HPS bulb in after lights out tonight.

Some of the growth has been a little weird, not a lot, with some bits of leaves missing and a few holes in them. I think it may be from the way I've been moving the tops with the new growth being pressed up against the screen. I read that that can happen. It looks almost like it could also be a ph issue but my dirt is 6.5 on the nose. So I'm going to try and get better at tucking the branches so that the leaves lay flat and they're not so smashed up. It's not the easiest thing to do with these Chubacca fingers. I think she's looking pretty sexy though, no problems :) Here she is today before adjusting tops, and after...and a pic of that weird growth if anyone would like to chime in with thoughts. Stay tuned gents, day 6 of 12/12

This tent is smelling like sex it's so lemony and fruity, I am in heaven every time I unzip that door lol. Been seeing some beautiful new growth these past couple days since I've swithced to the HPS. Its a Hortilux bulb, upgraded from a Phillips from my last grow so hopefully that will help make a difference in bud development. It appears I was correct about that fucked up growth being from how I was placing tops, it's totally stopped since I've changed my method of placing tops.
