pineapple chunk anyone?

so here i am im planning on ordering myself some feminised pineapple chunk seeds this week, im just wondering if any of you more experienced growers have tried this strain before. if so would you mind shedding some light on how it went?. i will be using a wilma 4 pot system, canna coco professional as substrate. they will be in a metre squared by 1.8 metres tall mylar lined grow tent i will be using a 600 watt hps light from begining to end. do have nutrients for veg and flower with pk boost things like that. once i get started i will be doing a grow journal on here if anyone shows any interest. anyways anything yo have to say about pineapple chunk will interest me right now. thanks alot and hope to hear from some of you soon. peace.

I have been running a Pineapple-heavy pheno for about a year now. She's pretty easy going. Noticed she needs root development product but that's not too bad. Can purple on leaf tips and calyx split with proper temps. Beautiful plant and very nice, earthy smoke.

good to hear someone starting some close to mine would be good to compare notes, how you planning on growing them? set up n so on? ive grew a couple of plants but never all organised just diff plants at different times moving some from light to cupboards to flower shit like that. dooin four together all pinapple chunk the description sold them well so lets hope its accurate lol.

ahhh someone who has grew it and hung it is there any advice on keeping chunk happy? really interested in even the smallest things that may help them grow. what sorted of harvests did you get from yours? thanks for the reply

I grew PC a while ago, and though my growing abilities have improved a lot since then, the genetics stood out even though it wasn't treated the best.

I flowered for about 60~ days, the plant was extremely resinous, the trichome heads seemed smaller than average, but abundant. The smell was super musky and cheesy at first, and then after the initial pungent whiff you get a nice sweet smelling undertone which I'm assuming is the Pineapple. Had a pretty solid high and the appearance was above average, even with my mistreatment. I would grow this strain again if I had the chance probably.



NOTE: This strain is notorious for stretching like a MONSTER after you flip, and it really does stretch up tall, so don't be afraid to flip earlier or train it heavily.

EDIT: My mistreatment was allowing it to stretch too tall, into the light

I flipped at around 8-10", a few nodes after being fimmed. The final height was at least 3' with a huge gap between the first flowering nodes, so it almost felt like the bottom half of the plant was all foliage and there were large shoots poking up and growing tall. I had some get too close to a 400w hps and got some dried up burnt bud tips. I did my best to keep them in a save distance for the rest of the grow, but the yield wasn't nearly as nice as it could have been, due to the high temps.

That said, I got I think 1 and 3/4 oz from it, around there. The buds were small but really potent, I feel like I could grow it again going in with this info and get 2-3 oz off a plant of the same size easily.

I knew quite a bit less about growing since I had not much experience before that grow, and I didn't plan on them stretching. 3 gallon containers. What little bud I did got was amazing, really unique flavor and taste. Be more prepared than me please!

dat dont sound tooo bad. sounds like a low stress training job to maximise yeild what do you think? thank for the help btw anything you can tell me will help me. was the plant sensitive to nutes? ive got a nute truncheon so can measure roughly what levels i am at, yo know much about ppm and things?

This plant was kind of finicky with feeding, mostly about the PH though. If you keep it within the ideal zone it preforms really well. I would start slow with the food and maybe add 50 ppm per feeding once you get a feel for what the plant wants. I fed it heavily during veg, but it responded better to a lighter feeding in flowering than the other strain I was growing with it.

But unfortunately I can only use what I know now and assume because I butchered those ladies with heat, and my next grow is when I actually started getting my act together.

I'm a very new grower & I'm ashamed to admit I'm growing on the cheap. That being said, my plans are always changing. I'm currently planning to grow using Jiffy Organic soil, 5 gallon pots, FF nutrients, & 4 26w CFLs. I plan to add CFLs as necessary. My 1st semi-successful grow I used LST & I was insanely proud of my baby....until he showed his sex clearly.

I ordered the following, however I'm not sure if I'll start all 5 @ the same time or not. In Kansas, the penalty gets significantly more harsh for more than 5 plants & I know I plan to attempt cloning for a perpetual grow. I may be a newb, but I was able to successfully clone my male bagseed without a cloner!

thats all cool mate like i said anything you know can help me work things out thanks for the pics aswell nice to see what it should be lmao lets hope i can make mine look as nice how do you get it so bushy so soon? and the last pic you posted kinda reminds me of mey first row i started with three armegeddon plants then some1 give me a 2&1/2 foot lemon haze plant thenn got given another 3 plants dont know genetics of them tho. in the end i had 7 different plant at 3 diferent stages of growth my lemon haze also hit the lamp and sizzled the top. the smoke was stringy and crap from the lemon the armegeddon on the other hand blew my head of was pukka. anyways ive decided to do it all properly now since the lemon ive done 2 more grows but still not organised properly like, lst some and not others to compare then realise the one not lst is taking all the light sorta making a canopy over the other. this time its going to be four pc in coco rather than soil with a bit of luck all goes well i have a few ametuer grows under my belt time to do this properly i think

I just started giving her nutes. I am at 5 weeks of veg from seed. I just topped her a few days ago, and have been training her. Her stem actually runs at a 90 degree angle and directely paralel to the ground for 6 inches. I am struggling with keeping her water run off higher then 6.1. Its the only plant ive had this problem with.

I germinated her using the paper towel method, and then moved her into soil. Fastest sprouter of the 12 seeds ive planted. Also the fastest growing so far as well. I am going to let her veg for 2 months as I have my inlaws coming here in 2 weeks for 4-5 days. In the mean time I will contine to train/tie her down. After that, its 12/12 and the magic happens!

I will keep you informed as I go along.

i done some lst with one of my white widow in a previous grow, i do like this method it works well i keep considering it with my pc i ust dont want to be vegging for so long, idealy i would like to veg for 3 weeks tops 4 at a push. was thinking of topping them all at 2-3 then give em a week to recover then start flowering 12-13 week grow in total if all goes well im no pro but thats my aim. i know its possible just hope its possible for me. ive never used coco before either soil or pebbles, ive heard coco is good for promoting fast growth, we will soon see aye thanks for the posts lads keep them coming! ill log on later a get back to you all peace!!!!!!!

i look forward to trying it out i order my seeds today should be ready to go by monday ive got just 1 problem with my set. night time temps atm go to less than 40f i need to keep that up to like 60 odd i think ??? need to get myself a little heater or summit just not sure what im looking for (whats right for the job) gettin excited now! ive got 15 white widow and 15 golden himalayan i want to do outside so think ill be doin some guerilla farming this year too there not fems so i gotta dt them about away from each other iM gunna be busy this year

just one other thing ive beem pondering over last few days. when using coco do you need to mix it at all (perlite/vermiculite)???? if so any suggestions on the mix?
