Sup GC, this will be my second go around with my current stealth cab setup. The dimensions of the cab are 20in x 22in x 50in.

For lighting I have a PVC rig which I will get pictures of tomorrow if anyone is curious. I have changed it from the last time to make it easier to fit six 42 watt CFL's. With the last arrangement one bulb wouldn't fit. Currently I am using my 2700k bulbs to veg with because I lent out my veg bulbs. The plants don't seem to mind so far.

For starting soil I am using Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Light Warrior mixed 50/50. I also have the trio of nutes.

For my strains, it will be HeriBerry which is an F1 hybrid of Steve Tuck's Herijuana (f19) x Mr. Blue's Blueberry (F8). The last time I ran this girl I had a great blueberry pheno which I hope to find again. I am also started 3 Power Kush which will be going outdoors as soon as possible so I will only be flowering out the HB under CFL's.

As a last homage to the fair lady who got ripped from me, here's a pic of her 20 days from finish from last grow:

Posted Image

The HeriBerry I have now is a day or 2 ahead of the Power Kush, and it's 4 days old today.

sexy ladies you´ve got there haha :D

Do plants grow at a slower rate when grown outdoors?
Because my seedlings-plants are 20 days old and are pretty small :(
but I think they are healthy enough :D

It depends on when they're started. Right now the northern hemisphere is furthest away from the sun so the intensity of the light isn't the greatest. Less light means your plant grows slower.

Of course there are many more variables than that, but in general, yes outdoor plants grow slower than indoor. If you have lots of stem and not a lot of leaf, then you need more light before the plant stretches to the point it can't support it's weight.

They are getting like 8 hours of direct sunlight a day, they weather is good.
they have a big pot for the roots to grow comfortably.

Can I take them inside at noon every day and give them some artificial light to stimulate growth?

Would guano help? hahaha sorry dude but Im new to this.

I wish I could have your plants haha, they are simply amazing :D

take a look at one of my babies :P

8 hours is not really good enough for veg. It would be decent for flower. For instance, I keep my seedlings under lights 24/7 until they have a root structure advanced enough to focus on vegging. Then I put them on a 20/4 schedule. For the plants that will be going outside I try to put them on the schedule that will be closest to what they'll experience when they go outside.

I would definitely recommend some artificial light to start with. You only need a couple bulbs for the early phase. Once you get a good amount of growth you'll want more to keep her well lit. She will start trying to flower if the dark period is too long, and the earlier she starts, the lower your yield.

I don't know how developed your plants are so I can't say one way or the other concerning the guano, but I'm going to guess not yet. Less is more when it comes to nutrients.

As for my plants, they have nothing on the master growers around here with sick HPS setups. Hey, we all need something to strive for right? haha

alright, ill try giving them 20/4 at least :D
lets see if that boosts growth a bit :D
I want to keep them growing until april or so
lets hope I can harvest some on the last days of may
by manipulating the dark periods :D

Thanks a lot dude :D

It takes a couple months for them to finish, plus a 2 week period in between veg and flowering, so keep that in mind :P The plant I posted above was 5 months old and still needed a couple weeks to go.

I will definitely keep that in mind.

I won´t be able to go on summer vacations from college since i´m going to be taking care of my ladies but that shouldn´t be a problem. When I harvest it will all be worth it :D hahaha

Can I see your light setup? I've been trying to come up with something on my own to house 6 CFL's. Thanks!

Dude, sorry for bothering ya´hahaha but I wanted to thank you for the advice on the lights. Since yesterday, they have been on 18/6 and will continue to increase until I get to 20/4. In 36 hours it has made a HUGE difference. The babies are looking healthy and increase size rapidly.

just some thin cardboard put together with tape, it was pretty windy today so I did that to protect the plants. I did not want the leaves nor the stem to get damaged haha :P was it a bad idea?

I would imagine it wouldn't be very much help by the time it would actually cause some damage, so go for it lol.

Day 11 from seed.

They're doing good. Lots of new growth, as well as being nice and green. They're not stretching for light so that's good. Minus the one that I didn't do a very good job of burying the excess stem, they're doing pretty well in the concentrating on new growth as opposed to height department.

The Heriberry is the one in the bottom left, the rest are the Power Kush.

Thanks, things seem to be going much better this time than last haha.
