half oz of stems to a stick of butter.
melt butter in small sauce pan on stove top with burner set to low setting (1-2 on most). once butter is melted turn down to Lowest setting without turning off. make sure all stems are below the butter level. Stir occasionally. I heard not to let the butter boil cause it ruins the butter. when the stems are soft the butter is ready. strain the stems out of the butter and store however needed for your use. works great as a cooking oil. i have used this method every time. longer she cooks the more potent. straight to the freezer for hardening makes some Kill BUD'er creme Icing.
