Why not just cook weed with oil?

assuming it works, just heat up a small amount of oil and throw the weed in and pour it on whatever you want to eat.



has anyone tried this? i have a feeling this would be the easiest way to make weed edibles, easier than firecrackers even. What do you think?

Suppose I were making some pasta and sauteed it with my garlic or something?

Wonder if a gram or two would work..

I don't see why not flowerchild. Only takes about a gram for a firecracker, so this should be no different

i've had intense edible experiences using around .5 , but that was with really potent weed

pot is 5x as strong when eaten because its converted from THC9 to THC11 by your liver

just cooked all my old stems and my vaporized weed! the oil actually taste really good on bread.

fuck firecrackers, this is way easier

depends how you make it

but when you reduce it, yes it will smell. Do it outside if you can cause most solvents (iso/butane/hexane) are extremely explosive/flammable when in vapor form. get an electric hot plate and pyrex dish to make a double boiler that should never get hotter then 190-210*

same thing with baking w/bud butter or bud flour. i like to use oil in my rice krispies that are really reeses puffs and cinimon toast crunch. it disolves into the marsmellows nicely. makes a festive green or goldish yellow color.

i also like oil in my bud pesto and bud guacamole.

But my favorite is making a batch of butter with sugar leaves and small nugs ground up. but TAKE THE BUD OUT of the butter or you or your friends might have a reaction and trip balls.

well.... it will work but if you leave the bud the actual plant material you might have a reaction and trip but other then that don't heat it over 190-210* and let it reduce if its a good oil like cooconut oil or apple seed or peanut oil. but veg oil and evo might not be so good for this. im not to sure... stick with making butter. I thought you ment hash oil at first.... woops

i just made some about an hour ago and i'm feeling it pretty solidly.
- 1g of some dank
- about 5 tbsp of oil
- 1 tbsp of shortening

let the oil sit there on low for about 2 mins, to get it all up to about 250 deg.
add your weed, ground up very finely.
let this simmer for about 20 mins on a bit higher than low, occasionally going to high for about 30 seconds to keep the thc evapourating into the fatty parts of the oil/shortening.
collect into a small dish and you can use somehting the filter out the weed, but it tastes bad enough with the weed strained out, so you might aswell just keep it in.
put it into the freezer untill it has become viscous.

this oil is great to just take a tablespoon of, or add to your butter/peanutbutter to enhance the potency.
