Great guide bro, I'm making brownies this week when I get my pick up, gonna post the pics on here. Just curious, I plan on using an 8th of some headies, would I have to eat alot of the brownies to feel it, because I've never had edibles before.

Can the batch of oil be stored for a short time, like say in the fridge?

I was always under the assumption that the cannabutter was supposed to be stored overnight in the fridge, then remelted the next day and baked with. Am i wrong?? Or is thsat just an optional step? Idk what it would benefit..

I'm making some now. I used just over 18g for a batch. we're simmering now. it's just under an hour simmer right now. I'm trying to hold out another hour, but my impatience is getting the better of me. I may pull it at the 90minute mark however to start cooking....

This batch is for me, my wife and cousin. We'll keep you posted!

We put the oil/product to simmer at 3:00 and we're straining now (4:46pm) We are at 2/3 cup spot on.

at 5:10 we just put them in the oven. we used the remaining mix on graham crackers and had a couple appetizers....

I've made hash brownies before and they were crazy. I can't even count how many I've eaten. I actually made a batch and it lasted me a year (I didn't do drugs that often back then) The last brownie I ate from that batch, a year later, still fucked me up. I used approx. 5g for the entire batch, and instead of the whole oil on the stove thing, I just put 2/3 cup olive oil + ground hash into a bowl then into the microwave, stirring every minute for around....5 minutes? I don't know I'm pretty baked.

Craziest times of my life (including the most high I've ever been - NOT fun) on hash/pot brownies.

I agree. The few times I've tried brownies, it was super super intense stonedness. I'd compare it to low doses of shrooms, the beginning part where it's just a super intense body high.

Yo im planning on making brownies tomorow, im planning on getting around 1/8 oz for 2 people of some nice bud. approximately 12 brownies total, is that a realistic measurement?

Great writeup and great pics! I've got a 1/2 of some decent midgrade that I'm gonna bake up in some brownies in a day or so. I got the same brownie mix and everything! lol Should be decent. I've had success with using just a 1/4 of some killer nugget (not sure of the strain) using the smaller 8x8 mix.

Excellent guide indeed. I am feeling the effects of my batch of brownies as I type this.

Only difference is that I use 14g of left over volcano vape. It greens up again a bit when it goes thru the coffee grinder. I then add this ground vape to 2/3 cup veg oil and let it sit for 3 days, stirring a few times a day. When its ready, it gets double-boiled on low heat (super easy to do and it prevents burning the oil. Just make sure you dont boil over) for just about 2 hours, stirring every 5-8 min. Everything else is the same.

ugh, going making these when the next harvest comes through, just gathering recipees at the mo, 14g ? hadnt planned on adding that much, but if i do less now, when i eat em i gonna be like, dayum HR is [--------] much more stoned after his 1's why didnt i add lol. Any suggestions on the amount if you were to use trimmings?

What kinda strainer did ya use ? Is it a coffee filter like most other strainers to do with weed ? lol, i imagine with ground up bud u dont have a kitchen strainer with that small a mesh ..... or do u bake em that often lol
