I've been making cannabutter ever since I first saw this video a while back, though ever since I started trying different strains and ever since I started turning some of my fellow medical users on to it they all now call it "Buzzbutter" which I think is kind of cute, though a dangerous type of cute, because I've had batched turn out WAYYYY unexpectedly strong to where one triple batch of brownies I made (I cup cannabutter per mix) and when I cut them into 3" X 3" squares and "test-drove" them about three and a half hours after eating ONE brownie I fell on my face three times trying to get to my bed.
Yet any time I warn somebody, "Eat just half a cookie/brownie/upside-down cake/square of fudge etc., I ALWAYS have somebody who figures 'Hey I got a high tolerance...,'" and eats a whole one or even two then about 3-4 hours later, lip-walks to the phone to call me, raving incoherently about, "What the HELL did you put in those <insert edible of choice> friggin' QUAALUDES or something?" Then after another 10-15 minutes of hysterical laughter interspersed with total gibberish, I hear the phone go "thump...," and the line goes dead.
I
try to explain the difference between taking it orally and smoking it, but does anybody ever listen??????
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried the same method as using the butter only exchanging butter for XXX Virgin Olive Oil? I'm thinkthe same process should work just like butter as they are both solents, and if so the olive oil would stay a pourable liquid where once the test drive was completed, you would know exactly what you were dealing with and THEN you could just spoon a half-teaspoon or tablespoon or whatever then actually be able to make a batch of killer munchies that you could actually munch on whilst watching a good flick without suddenly up and passing out for 30 hours or so!
If any of the blades on the board happen to notice this and have done it themselves, please advise.
