Hello Friends. This is my second run around with my set-up. Last time around i only pumped out 78 grams...darn spider mites worked me. So far I'm at day 23 of flowering. The 4 master kush clones are totally taking over my screen. 1450 ppm 5.8 pH 75 degrees 60% RH im running the 3 part general hydroponic series with floranector (makes the bud smell and taste so good!) also liquid KoolBloom with some super thrive i just picked up today. So far i have run into one problem, seems like fungus gnats got into my root zone and are attacking away..i stopped at a local hydro store and picked up some NilNat..guy said it works great and you can add it right to the nutrient filled water. even though you cant spray neem oil during flowering i took a little bit and just lightly misted the top of the hydroton and the top of my aero system. so here are some pics at day 16 of flowering.
Looks nice man. If you introduce some lady bugs into your grow room, they will eat all the spider mites and they will not harm your plants. Let us know how the NilNat works.
had the spider mites last run, they got bad..i went for preventative measures this time and sprayed neem oil once a week through veg. no spider mites

So how did you mount that mini-split unit in the tent? Doesn't it have to be jammed up against a wall so the Drip line can run outdoors? You just cut your tent or something and backed it to a wall? Really awesome grow man ... Quite the talent , Sorry about the Gnats I get them in my soil here and there but never in my Ebb&flow. Mad K+
Your thread deserves so much more attention. Another question , Where are you venting the Hood too. You Sucking your Ac out of the box and blowing it outdoors? Either way with a setup like that You could save all that AC and draw from outdoors venting outdoors. Might need to get another fan to Circulate the box and the room the box is in. Or better yet a Co2 tank.
im not sure i follow your question there? im using a aero-hydro system by botanicare(think thats how its spelt) the lower section is a res with a submerged pump, a water circulation pump and 4 6 inch air stones to air up the water. the pump sucks up the water in the root zone (top compartment) and sprays the roots directly and gravity does its part to drain the nutes back into the res. the system fits with about a foot on each side all the way around the tent. I took a oscilating fan and took off the base, put it horizontal and have it on chains hanging so i can just lift the fan as the plants grow to keep the tops nice and cool. i dont use a AC because my temps are constantly at 72-75 and 62 RH...<--positives of where i live. anyways. the air pulls to the top of the tent, through the carbon filter, through the light to cool it, and it exits through the roof of the tent into then room it is in.
Working around to day 50 tomorrow. the girls are looking good, starting with 2 weeks left i change the water and put in flora nectar, some powdered kool bloom, and just a few drops of super thrive.. i was pushing 1600-1700 ppm but am not at 1400.. do i really need to flush with just plane h20..i use a r/0 system so im not sure if the Calcium shortages at the end will cause it to stunt growth? any suggestions??

So the girls are in their last 24 hours of darkness before i wake up tomarrow and chop that shit. I've been flushing for the last 13 days, so my leaves are looking preetttyy weak and dead, but the colas are looking nice. ill update you later tomorrow on the results and maybe some bud porn. You should be chopping them at night. Looking good. I am also growing aero, and I've kept my ppm really low. Haven't even hit 1000 yet. Check out my journal in my sig.

1. Res temps ranged from 24-26..it ran pretty warm, but i have no way of cooling it down other than throwing a frozen water bottle in every day or so. 2. my misting schedule was off..i did 24 hours in veg and 1 hour on 2 hours off (24 hours)... the best misting time is 1 minute on 3 off while the light is on! im upgrading my timer this run so i can have more optimal results. 3. mid flowering i was pushing 1400-1500..last 3 weeks i was running 1600-1700
