Himalayan Gold Aerogrow

I decided to use known genetics and try this growing again. There is only 1 plant from femmed seed. I am going to lst and it appears she wants to do it herself. The T does stand for training. I'm going to see if I can get her to follow the light around to help with it. I have read of this growing monster outside. I plan on doing some cloning and fimming to help keep thngs under control. I have read another account that recommended switching it to flower at 2 weeks or when the nodes start to alternate.

This seed was soaked 1/12, cracked in 24 hours, tap root 1/8th" long at 48 hours, moved into sponges into AG 1/16 on the tomato setting. I had cut the sponge all the way through and it had no issue pushing a strong thick white root out the sponge and down into the water in the resevoir. The seed pod popped 1/17 above the sponge and worked the pod open. Today it shed the pod and opened it's base leaves. I added the cfl on the side at 1pm today and by 6pm I had the new baby open and leaning. Everything is moving much quicker this time, healthier looking already.

Gotta do something about that light, it's not close enough to the top of the plant. You can see it stretching already.

Whats your Veging w/ nutes plan? How are you gonna control the night/day cycle?

The stretch you are talking about is on purpose and believe me it's not stretched. It has the aerogarden bulbs running above also. I have Gen Hydro FloraBloom and FloraGrow for nutes. The lights will be on timers when I switch to 12/12 which may be in a couple of weeks. With a short veg time and lsting I plan to keep the plant shorter. I don't have much room to grow in my house.

I can't find anything that says you can lst at less than 3 nodes so I better try to get the baby's back pointing up again until it has developed more. Here are pics at day 3.

I got the cfl crammed in under the raised aerogrow lights and the baby sat up straight in no time. Will post pics later tonight. I have a second cfl to add. Do you think one on each side at the same distance would prevent it from tipping sideways? I am close to having a heat issue with just one cfl and the lights from the aerogarden so the second will make it worse. There is a fan running on low.

hey KreeMN i'm back! where did you get your seeds this time? i'm going to jamaica for 6 months in about a week. i'll try to watch the grow while i'm there.

Insurance ended up saying that i don't need rehab so my parents didn't know what to do with me so they're sending me to Jamaica to volunteer there. but i plan on smoking everyday.

Here are the Day 4 pics. You can see the next leaves developing. 2 26 watt 6500 cfls pointing from opposite directions along with the aerogarden lights and she's straightened up nicely. I will lst when she is old enough. Fan is keeping the temps reasonable.

Nice man, I grew out some HG.

Is that in an aerogarden? Are you going to transfer to a bigger aero setup? Because the roots will probably clog up when they get bigger.

Yup, it's in an aerogarden classic. I plan on taking a clone for a mother plant since the space is so small. Mother is going to go into dirt, maybe bonsai. Gotta keep the individual plants small so cloning will be frequent. I have 2'-3' vertical to play with which is why I will lst. When the clones are coming from the older mother I will just root and flower. Hope to have continuous flowering. I'm only growing for myself.

These look much more healthy! Did you change anything in your setup from your last attempt or do you think the seeds were just too old to grow?
