I"M BACK w/OXYPONICS!

After a long time not growing I'm finally back. Expecting delivery next week of my new setup. I spent the money where I thought it mattered more (immediately and for the long run) and I skimped where I figured I could for now. Either way, I'm expecting one HELL of a grow! Here's the setup:

Oxyponics pro 6
2 Hydromax 600w digital dimmable ballasts
2 6" cooltubes
1 5'x5'x78" grow tent
1 6" hydrofarm inline fan and charcoal filter

I've had great results with all of the fox farm and botanicare products i've used, however I'm going to go with the full line of Advanced Nutrients this time. Altough I might exclude the grand master...not sure. I'm going to scrog the then, run the 2 600's MH 18/6 for veg and then HPS for 12/12.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I'm not 100% sure on what strains i'm going to run. i think I'm going to run 3 strains 2 plants of each. I was thinking about sweetwreck which is sweettooth x trainwreck and also a strain called str berry. I get them from my dispensary, here's a link to their menu with strains, ALL of their shit is LEGIT I've grown from them many times and had excellent results. Anyone got any strain suggestions from this menu?

even when you get clones from a dispensary check for bugs with a magnifying glass.
you can take your next clones around the 2nd week of 12/12 and save some cash.

Word, when I switch to flower I'm going to rebuild my cloner which I've had great success with for my cuttings. I just got my tent and lights, and ventilation all setup. Right now it's holding steady around 79F, I do have a AC unit which works great I can add, but hard to tell until the oxyponics pro system shows up and and I can see exactly how much space it will need.

I also haven't hooked up my carbon filter system, I might not until closer to flower because I use it in the room I medicate in to keep the smell down (maybe I'll just buy another).

I was wondering on the setup of my carbon filter. Should I place it inside the tent and suck air through it out of the tent, or should I place it outside of the tent and push air through it? I've heard pushing air through it works better than sucking?

I am SERIOUSLY impressed with the quality of the grow tent though (5'x5'x78" Reflective Hydroponics Mylar Grow Tent 600D Window Cabinet Box | eBay) is the link to the one I bought. I was really worried it would be a POS, but the material is SUPER heavy duty, HIGHLY reflective, the metal frame is very sturdy, and it was super simple to put together. To me honest, I think it's the shit for $160!

Same with the lights, although I'm not sure their results yet, both ballast's run pretty quiet next to each other and very cool. Dimming options of 600/400/250w. Came with a 6" cooltube which seems to be on par with most I've seen. As well as MH and HPS bulbs (which I'm sure are low-mid end and should probably be replaced with better quality ones). No posts yet due to stealth hydros shitty customer service and shipping time. Order placed on 6/12/12 shipped today after 3 emails and a pissed off phone call. I don't know about you guys but if I spend more than $100 online I want it shipped immediately or and email with estimated shipping time and an explanation...their system better rock my bawls off lol!

On a lighter note I just added 4L of Sensi Grow a and B and also 4l of b52. I want to run voodoo too, but got to wait for some cheddar. Looks like everything should be up and running this weekend

I checked out the web site to see what Oxyponis is....

You might want to have it set up and running for a couple days before adding any plants.

Running it for a couple days helps you to find and problems that might happen like leaks, ph and ppm ratios etc etc etc.

Just a sugguestion on my part and not written into stone

No word on the job yet, they said 1-2 weeks before I will hear. Strains are going to be grape ape x2, tangerine x 2, pitbull x1, cheese x1. I have them sitting under a 250 waiting to get put into the system this weekend

i hope they all like the same EC/PPM's as putting diferent strains into one set up can cause probs with some and not the others.
just keep an eye out for nute burn on the tips on all of them.

grapes suck anyways IMO. i dont like smoking weed then going to bed like most grapes do.

Actually this strain is very sativa like even though it's indica dominant. I've ripped it all day many days without nap times lol.
