this method isn't for maximizing yield, it's for maximizing potency.

I am glad to see that I'm not the only person who uses bud and frosted leaf only. I don't grind it up even. Just a nice quick wash and shake.

Very nice. So, can I just use straight up ground bud and soak it with ISO, and play the waiting game? Is that basically it?

I AM CURRENTLY MAKING SOME ISO HASH - FIRST TIME - VAPORIZED MATERIAL[very positive THC are left]

Amazing man, after viewing this post I decided to go on and make some of my own ISO hash. My first time ever making this stuff, I'll try to get some pictures up also. I would like to know everybodys opinion, since it's my first time and I don't want to be smoking anything that doesn't look right to you.

I followed your direction, I used roughly 40-50 grams[not sure, estimate] of "VAPED" herb that I only vaped till it got light brown, meaning THC would still be left.

- I grounded it up even more, put all of it in a glass jar and filled it up with 70% ISO alc for one minute, shaking vigoriously. [Smells like vaped stuff, defeinately THC left, or as some may say light peanut butter smell considering its vaped]

- I then proceeded to dump the material from the jar over a very fine silk screen onto a glass plate. Came through clear, the color is dark, which i believe is because I already started out with vaped material.

- Put the plate in front of a low setting fan and its currently evaporing. After two hours It has already evaporate alot and when I bring it by the window I can see a very nice portion of gooeyness at the bottom of the plate.

I'll be back here tomorrow after I get a photo of it. I have a few questions I would like to know;

+ I don't have any razors laying around, what are other things people have used to scrape this stuff off the plate? I have read that many say the scraping tool is very helpful...true/false?

+ Now I know many of the hash smokers have seen the video where you use a straw, pin and cup to smoke the hash, is this method usable for ISO hash?


Thanks a bunch guys, I can't wait to try my first ever made VAPED material Hash. Now I am already expecting a little darker color compared to all your golden fresh herb. Anything else I should know? Will it be smokable right after scraping?, etc.

Evaportion is almost all done, it turned out to be more golden than I expected. I am very excited...going to give it another few more hours before I even touch it.

IT LOOKS FINISHED, has that weed lemon type of smell. Its very formable, although it didn't turn out golden, more towards the dark side. My guess is that a major part of the reason is I used already vaporized material. All weighed out to be two grams. I will get pictures up in the AM tomorrow. Im not going to smoke it tho maybe let it dry for a few more days, to be completely sure the iso is all evaporated and/or that I just picked up some grand daddy...

AS OF RIGHT NOW THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE...[NOT OFFICIAL, CHECK BACK 2mor, but ALIKE]

Breakdown
Material Used: Roughly 40 grams of VAPORIZED MARY-J4NE
Dish in warm-water, with a fan running on low, well vented for 19-20 hours to evaporated
Consistency: Very soft, can be kneaded easily
Smell: Vaporizer/Weed Brownies/peanut butter?
Process time: 28 Hours


Anything to look out for as a sign to not smoke?

Thats not the actual picture, I will try to get it tomorrow because the only Camera I have is a 2MP IPHONE...so im going to need all the sunlight I need to take an OK picture.

As long as you let it cure you really don't have to worry about much, but this really isn't my thread so I probably shouldn't spout off about it

I call that beautiful. I am definitely going to try this method tomorrow when Rite-Aid opens. Gonna run just one mason jar, hoping for a gram off of the trim I have, I think I'll get more though.
