how long do trichomes take to go from milky to amber?

oh ok.. well my plant has been flowering for a month and a week about.. maybe a little more.. and the crystals look milky which is what i want.. should i harvest?

for my strain i thought they would slowly change but for the most part it was a drastic change overnight.

heres some pics i took today.
ive already stopped ferting it over a week ago due to overferting..its just getting molassis and water every few days.

This plant is still a while away from amber tric's! Start looking for amber tric's when almost all of the hairs have changed color.
Why not get rid of that tin foil?

For sure dude, almost all the hairs on your plant will be orange/red before Tric's are amber. Click the link under my sig to see my girls, waiting on amber tric's too! Mine are much closer and my tric's are still mostly clear with some milky.
Your plant is going to need food for a good few weeks yet.
