Does bud reek really badly when it's being cured?

I'm a newbie grower, and I was just curious if, when I am curing the buds, if it would make my entire house smell?

It doesn't smell as much as growing or drying, but if you have jars full of bud and have non smokers come in the same room with them, they will probably be able to smell it. My buds always smell right through the jar. And you have to burp the jars which releases a lot of smell into the air. You would have to take them outside to burp the jars if you were trying to be really stealth. Even with my dry buds in jars it smells up my house! I keep everything on the back porch or the toolshed for that reason. I don't want my house to stink. Got kids and all...

It doesnt smell through air tight mason jars just the resin from your hands on it smells...wipe them down with alcohol
