1st timer 1000w grow room build w/pics.

Ok finally got my room bout 95% complete. I live in SoCal and have spent a couple very hot exhausting days in my attic. 105+ up there:( Anyways check it out...I dropped all the electrical down in through the walls. I mounted both fans ,6" for the reflector, 4" for room ventilation in the attic to cut down on noise and heat since this is my master bedroom closet. The pic of the single vent next to the hole is my hallway ceiling and the vent is to pull cool air through my hood.

Some more pics..The hole in the ceiling is from me having a little slip and putting my foot through the drywall and the light fixture ruining it. I was not happy at all:mad::mad: The box contraption is my filtered light trap/passive intake for the room..Whatcha guys think?

It's an MH bulb, still need to purchase the HPS bulb. The ballast will run both..

Oh, you got the nice one, I have the same reflector but I got the 400 watt HPS only with the old school transformer...works great though...you are gonna love that thing....buds better than anything else out there....happy growing and post some plant and bud shots when the time comes.

Guess I should also mention that my brand new Nextgen ballast is faulty and I can't just return it to the store I have to ship it back to C.A.P. in Perris Ca.. Already got the wheels in motion today and I am waiting on there shipping packaging. Fuckin sucks! That's why I have no pics of my girls under the new AC reflector. I just learned from my local Hydro store that C.A.P is having all kinds of issues with there digital ballasts, mainly that they have them built in fucking China and not in the U.S. They are also back ordered on the ballasts so I will be lucky to get a new one any time soon and I don't have the cash to go by a different one. In a bind now cuz as u can see my plants out grew my lil T5 a couple weeks ago. I need to transplant them to bigger pots but the then they really won't fit under the light. Long story short I have no faith what so ever in C.A.P products and will steer away from anything they make in the future.P.S. there customer service also is terrible.....FUCK C.A.P. ....excuse my french.

Took me an hour to get some one on the phone around 10am this morning. Their "lead" tech guy didn't seem to know a whole lot except my problem sounded "like a computer problem? Hydro shop just said their hands were tied and they themselves were having issues with how they operate.All the while my girls are the one's that have to suffer, what did they ever do to anybody?

Well have a lil update, C.A.P sent me a UPS shipping label and I sent out the ballast today so hopefully they should receive it tomorrow and according to them they have a 24-48 hr turn around time to get a new one back to me. Saturday would be great, hopefully no later than Monday. I have a sad pic of my T5 hanging under my MH/HPS. I also transplanted one of my ladies and did some LST which I plan on doing to all of them, it should have been done already:(

Nice set up bro. I got the same next gen ballast. Hope I don't run into the same problems. The guy at one of the hydro stores here in town was telling me to be careful with my ballast aswell. Said that they aren't enclosed so humitity gets in there and screws em up. Something like that.

Thanks bro, spoke to CAP again this morning and they said it was done but won't ship till Monday afternoon...lame. I told them I have a garden with no lights. My plants are falling way behind in those lil pots and starting to show some stress. Blows. Will feel much better when my 1000watter I paid for is running.

Those T-5's will get you by though, at least it wont be a total loss....hopefully you'll get your Hps up and running soon but at least you have some backup.
