try not to go for anything under 25W ACTUAL (100W equivalent). I currently have 3x 26W 65K with 1x 42W 27k. I'm in the 3rd or 4th week of veg and my little PK is doing good! having a bit of issue trying to go below 80*F but my lights are 1'' to 3'' away from my plant.

*You can buy a 3 pack of 26W 65k for 12$ at wallmart (in canada)

Never even heard of those last 2 lights you asked about. Yomandude gave you a pretty solid answer.
If you're trying to use a CFL, just one or 2 chepos from Walmart won't do it. You'll need at least 4.

Edit: and ya know how you become good with bulbs? Do some research man. I'm not trying to be harsh, but you really wanna grow? The go learn! You can even find videos on the what to do!

I was just wondering about those two lights I mentioned last, they are really cheap so iwas trying to see if anyone else has used these lights or if the watts mentioned are just the equivalent.

i use 42 watt bulbs 2 of them for about a foot and a half. i really recommend those i used to use 4 i think 23 watt and i get much better results with just these 2 42 watts. my recommendation if you wanna use fluorescent they were $10 a piece where the 32 were $5

I've seen good comments about the lotus online... I believe they are made in 100W and 200W *actual* so it should be a good buy. never actually tried it though.
