I have seedlings on a 400W conversion HPS/MH- with the AC running all the time, and humidifier only when needed which is not much cause the humidity is usually 60%-70% . The temp in there (closet grow) is usually 80 when the light is on and doesnt go down much during dark time cause I have to shut the door to keep light out. So any suggestions on how to get the temp down with the door shut- and yes there is a fan in there but it just blows the existing air around in the closet. And I keep the A/C on low during light and on high during dark which doesnt do much.. lol- help!

ok I've decided to just let nature handle it cause theres nothin i can do except keep it 80-85 in there during the light period and then turn the A/C up way high during the dark period- unless.... anyone has some better ideas

get an exhaust fan

Could prob rig up an exhaust fan on the top of the grow room since heat rises

a friend of mine moved the hinges on his door so that it almost touches the rug, this leaves a pretty big gap above the door then he installed a small blower fan to blow all the air out the gap...

u might not even need a fan if theres a big gap on ur door, and since its just a closet i dont think anyone would notice the extra holes in the doorframe

ok - theres a huge crack under the closet door- that will have 2 be enough for venting with a fan blowing in while lights out- hopefully too much light will not get in thru crack. I just dont have money and a way to put on an exhaust- and drilling holes is out of the ? cuzz my landlord wont like it.... I just hope thats good enough for my babes
