I got a 175w mh grow light.
A buddy of mine let me have it I was wondering if this is good for growing should i get a hps conversion bulb? or should i just go with something bigger. Wondering what you guys thought ill post pictures later.

Metal halide is great for general growth, but as far as making bud it lacks, it is a good size lamp that can probably handle about 3-4 plants, but get an hps conversion bulb and use it to flower them, you will not regret it, for the new bulb it will cost a bit i think probably around $40 but it is better than having to buy a new light setup.
