Cheap Inline Fan

check this out peeps! a 235cfm inline blower for 25 bucks! got turned on to it from a buddy. buy a 12v 5 amp adapter and let her rip!!!!

Marine In-Line Blower for the blower and...

12 Volt DC - 5 Amp (12V 5A) Power Supply for the adapter...

That looks too good to be true. At the cost, it may be worth it to try it myself.

Wow that would be sweet if this were to be a half assed piece of equipment no ? Anyone gonna get'er ?

I've made a few posts on this already actually...

I have two of them and they are ridiculous. They put out some serious air for sure.

I have one pushing cool air from outside my room into my 600w reflector and another pulling air from the reflector and shooting it outside.

BTW, computer power supply will run several of these if you want to reuse something instead of buy an adapter.

Detmar Blowers

They have a much lower CFM rating though ?????

I dont think you're looking at the correct one. Its listed as 5 cfm higher at a lower amp draw.

The fan I used to use came off a pizza oven, it moves air.

no these fans are not quiet at all. But when you have ducting hooked up to them they arent bad, just like any other fan really.

How did you wire the detmar blower so it could be plugged into a wall socket?

these fans are supposed to be used in water to help cool them. if you run them on high they could go out any day. i have 2 marine blowers on my boat and 1 of them broke last year for not having water run through it when it was on
