Rewiring 440v lights for 220 or 110?

Hello there. I hope this is where this goes.

I picked up 4 1000w MH lights at an auction for $15 each. It seems that the ballasts run on 440v. Is it possible to convert them to 110 or 220 ? I have both available.

I can get pics up later today (I'm off to work soon, don't really have time right now).

Even if not, the reflectors are worth the $15 I paid for them.

I plan on getting a HPS conversion bulb for one to flower with (only four plants right now, going to make mothers out of the females). I'm running CFL's right now, but will probably change to MH when I get these figured out.

I tried google, and searched here and can't find anything on 440 to 220 or 110. Does anyone have a link to something I can read to help me figure it out? I'd greatly appreciate it.
