Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

What's up blades? Been awhile since I've been in this part of the forums, but for good reason. I've been doing some mothers and clones lately. Did some flowering in a 2x4 hydro in a closet and getting ready for another. But now I'm getting into some heavy territory - I'm getting ready to partner in on a warehouse. So I figured where else better to go for advice than to the one place I've always been able to count on, The City!

Here are some specs:
810 sq ft. - (probably 15x54 or 20x40 I haven't been inside yet)
Approximately 15 foot ceilings
Bathroom with a great faucet and drainage (from what I'm told)
Freedom to build whatever is needed (walls, shelves, ventilation, etc.).

And don't worry guys/gals, this thread will be filled up with all kinds of pics of everything - from beginning to end and as many runs as I can post up here.

Here is what I am thinking off the top of my head and I welcome all opinions, comments, advice, ideas, criticism and cycicism.

:::::Flower Room:::::
10-20 - 1000 watt lights (air cooled tubes)
5-10 - 4' x 8' Ebb and Flow tables
5-10 - 50 gallon reservoirs
5-10 - 550gph sub pumps
2 - 10" exhaust fans
2 - Can Filters
1 - Sulfur Burner (used 3x/week at night for 3 hours)
1 - Co2 system (used twice a day on for 10 minutes)
Approximately 100' ducting
5-10 gallons flat white paint
10 - 50lb bags Hydrotron

::::rying Room:::::
1 - wall (spanning the entire width of the space)
- 2x4s (approximately 120')
- Plywood sheets (4'x8')
- 1-2 gallons Flat white paint
1 - Door
1 - 8" Exhaust Fan
1 - Can Filter

I'm a little hazy in the brain right now but I wanted to get at least this much posted to get some ideas rolling. I will post more in a little bit or as my day rolls on tomorrow.

For a bit more Ease and better use of space. Rather then ebb and Flow 4x 8 tables. Running a hose from 50 gallon containers and doing a drip style. Should allow more better movement thru room and individual attention to plants. Using like 5 gallon buckets could have some good size plants. Plus those 4x8 trays suck ass to move around. Not to mention having to move all the shit into that place the less the better. But im sure jumping into this you have a very good idea what to do and are probally just tring to smooth out rough edges before starting. Best of luck to you lots of work lies ahead.!

Thats gonna be a lil peice of heaven on earth! What stain(s) u thinkin? also what ferts you gonna be using? lol iv only seen advanced nuts in big enough drums 2 supply the needs ul have u lucky bugger. gonna be interesting 2 c pics, i dont think theres been nething of that magnitude on here b4. u probly thought of this already but id like to hear it, Why not lower the ceiling to 10 ft and get some light rail movers? Lowering the ceiling might enable you to conceal ducting, and wireing, while mainting a more constant co2 ppm reading. iv never done ne thing massive so im keen to see how its done.

The tables are going to be our best bet as I live about 3 hours away from the warehouse with all the cultivation knowledge, so I am trying to make it as automated as possible with as little heavy lifting as possible for my buddy.

Movement of the trays will be worked out by building stands for them with wheels on the bottoms. This way I can disconnect all the hoses and move them if needed to clean something.

Moving everything into/out of the place is going to be easy. There is a back ally to the place and really I think that's the best part of the day ending so early right now, we can load things into the building until about 10pm before people start asking questions (about 4 hours of dark )

We're going to be going with some Chem Dawg (Chem 4), SR-71 Purple Kush and Super Silver Haze. I am trying to get my hands on some Blueberry, Northern Lights, Snow Dawg and some Super Dawg but it's looking like those are going to have to wait until the second run.

The choice of nutrients is a toss up between the Advanced Line and the Canna Line. I've used both with amazing results on each end, but I guess it's all going to come down to what they hydro shop has avialable from my list of Advanced:
B-52
Bloom
Clone Juice
Colossal bud Blast
Connoisseur A & B
Emerald Shaman
Iguana Bloom
Iguana Grow
Jump Start
Piranha
Scorpion
SensiZyme
Tarantula
Voodoo
Wet Betty

Otherwise it's Canna: Hydro A & B, Hydro Vega, Hydro Bloom (cheaper yes but it's fun acting like a scientist with the advacned line).

I won't be moving the ceilings down for two reasons:

1) Cost and time. It'd probably be an extra couple thousand to frame it, put up the plywood, paint it, get the light rail movers. Not to mention that's a weekend project at least.

2) Higher ceilings will give me more leeway with temperature being that I will be running between 10-20 lights and let's face it, that's some heat. Plus I won't need to worry about concealing the ducting and what not as my buddy is in the process of talking to our DA buddy to see just how legal we can make this whole thing.

As far as CO2 ppm goes. I will be able to keep that pretty good as I will be putting a 20lb tank in each corner of the room (4 total) with it's own timer/regulator on it and have it turn on on each quarter hour (in a rotation of some sort) for 5-10 minutes at a time.

Thanks for the responses guys. I can't wait to put some pics up here. For now it's gonna be some MAJOR talking

Valid CA patient with valid rec? lol. Yeah I've been involved with a few of these already but now its mine so I'm making sure that I copy pretty much everything I remembered about theirs (with the exception of running hydro).

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

glad i asked, man u have this down to a science! thats amazing you got the sr71 Purple kushers, theyre hard to come by (im not MEDI). I gave some Pk's in veg right now but not sure their legit. The level it sounds like ur at man go with the advanced nutes for sure, they might even supply you if your medi. Biocanna is Omri certified so its something to consider when supplying the patients. Also have you tried Pot Of Gold? Its quite the producer and is good medicine.

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

Just met with the Landloard today. Turns out the place is like this:
12' ceilings, 14' wide, 30' long; front office sectioned off from the back room AND a basement the same size as the big room - only 7' ceilings.

Gonna work it out to flower upstairs and veg downstairs. This is going to be amazing.

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

If you were to flower downstairs, wouldn't this help contain odors more? What are your reasons for going veg downstairs.. just a thought.

Because the ceilings are only 7 feet tall in the basement opposed to 12 upstairs. We're going to be doing Ebb and Flow trays and in order for the reservoirs to fit under the trays we need to build stands about 3 feet tall, then you add in the 16 inches it is from top to bottom of the hood for the lights, the 3 inches the hooks/yoyos will hang from the ceilings, the 8 inches deep the ebb and flow table is below the tray the plants sit in and that's about 5'3" right there- leaving us with 21 inches to grow our plants. That doesn't even take into consideration how far away from the lights you need to keep the plants (granted if they're vented right it won't matter) to keep them from burning and there is no space down there to flower. But upstairs where we have 5 more feet of room to work with, we'll be able to put 12 lights, 6 4'x8' trays, and pull about 17 pounds with a tried a true method from a buddy.

I know it will contain odors more, but really it's not one of our concerns at the moment. We'll have proper carbon scrubbers and plenty of other distractions people won't even notice the smell.

Good point though
