Lol I sure hope that works out, if you used 4" rockwool cubes you'd get 298 plants, subtract a few for your flood and drain valves. If each main cola yielded anywhere near an ounce you'd yield about 18 pounds in one tray. Even half an ounce would still yield you 9 pounds per tray! That'd be so sick, I am going to patent it so you have to pay me royalties

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

Today we set up the exterior drain and changed the water and nutrients. PPM levels are right around 1100 where we want them for the next 2 weeks, PH levels are 6.0-6.2. We need to get some covers for the trays though, the coco mat the pots are on seems to be hosting algae, but whatever it's not going to do anything once I add my ingredients.

Plans for the weekend:

`Bring 12 mother plants.
`They vary between 1 and 3 gallon pots of soil.
`They will be placed into a 4x4 tray in a hydro hut skeleton with a 600W hps on 18/6.
`All of them will be transplanted into 5 gallon pots 2 weeks from the day they go under.
`Strains include: Jack The Ripper, Cosmic Kush, Chem Dawg D, SR-71 Purple Kush, LA Confidential (generic OG Kush), Querkle (Space Queen x Purple Erkle), Afghan Blueberry, God's Gift, Super Silver Haze, Bubble Gum, Icy Kush, Deep Chunk x Strawberry Cough

Get the rest of the cinder blocks (25) for the ebb and flow tables and set them up with the plywood and trays set on top of them.

Get two 30ft ladders so we can hang up a second and possible third layer of panda film on either side of the warehouse to ensure that no light is escaping into the adjacent warehouses.

Hang chains in the veg room for light placement for when we start getting everything set up.
Also use the chain to lower and level out the remaining hoods in the flower room.

We will also be setting up two sets of shelves in the veg room.
Each shelf has 4 levels of shelf on it.
Think four of the 8 shelves have an 8 bank t-5 light system on them.

Fill 2-20lb CO2 tanks
Get a Regulator/Timer
Get and run around the CO2 line
Hook it up and run that son'bitch

That's pretty much it. We'll see how much actually gets done but I'm pretty hopeful. This is going to be awesome. There will be LOTS of pictures this sunday y'all.

Those bars have something to do with the frequency of the lights and the scan rate of the camera, or something like that. You used to get similar issues trying to take pictures of an active television. I get the same thing with all my digital cameras and my HIDs - a big part of the reason most people shut the lights off for picture time (along with the fact that the lights wash out colors.)

This is easily one of the coolest looking grows I've seen. I really look forward to some more pictures.

Always glad to see large legal status setups, otherwise Id invest in a thermal imaging camera, and a way to protect yourself ~12 grand +6. Good luck

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

Hey Blades. So today wasn't as productive as I would have liked it to have been, but whatever that's what happens sometimes. Anyhow here is what we accomplished today:
- Set up 4x4 Hydro Hut (minus the reservoir and pumps/hoses
- Brought mother plants in and put them in the Hydro Hut in soil pots (going to run a drip system to them)
- Set up the second 3 tables in the flower room
- One table will be Hydro and the last two tables will be soil plants holding 32 instead of 24 per tray in 3 gallon pots
- Filled CO2 tanks and now we're looking for a timer/regulator

We will be filling the last 3 tables on Thursday. The last hydro table will have 28 God's Gift, one of the soil tables will have 32 Chem Dawg in it and the other soil table will have Jack The Ripper in it.

Since we will be putting more into the flower room on Thursday and they also need time to veg out, we will be postponing flipping them into flower until two weeks from planting the second batch. The first batch is going to get HUGE!

Pictures
These were taken just after the lights went out so I couldn't get any of the plants up close or there would be way more. Expect the huge load I promised today to be here next Sunday.

This is the last Hydro table and as close of a shot as I could get for y'all to see the plants

These are the mothers (or soon to be's). There are 7 here now and there will be a few more once we harvest (I still have to be able to make some spending cash for my home and myself). These should be ready to start filling tables by the time we harvest and should be making us money from clones by the end of the month.

This is a shot of the whole room (or as much of it as I could get in the shot) You can see the pots, these ones are the tall 3 gallon pots - they're about as wide as a 1 gallon pot but it's about twice as tall as a 3 gallon. We're pretty confident that 12 bags of soil will do it.

Our harvest times are going to be all kinds of out of order

Re: Setting up a Warehouse... Advice Welcomed

Are you going to use a Co2ppm reader? I cant find much solid backing to this but; i know digital ballasts produce alot of Rf noise, that rf noise will screw with the co2 sensor pretty badly. i want the sentinal chhc1 but my lights are digital so i havnt bought it yet, if anyone reads this currently running more than 2000ws of digital ballasts AND has a c02 controller that doesnt seem to be affected please pm me the make and model thx. The crowding of plants these guys all want is no good for the quality of the bud, imo
