Thumbs up 150 hps for scrog box question(s)

from what i have read the past few weeks, i would really like to have a small scrog grow box. looking at the cheap light link, i am looking for a light like the $40 - 150 hps light for that box. will i have to rewire it to fit my household socket? here is a link to the light.

your gonna need to wire up a male plug onto the wires coming from the fixture.... and probably need to remote ballast it and make a custom light reflector as well....

How do I convert a common home security light into a remote ballast grow light?

do you think i could do that with just basic knowlege of tools? if it isn't too hard, i will give it a try - but if you have to be an electrician i am just gonna have to find something else.

nah, its easy.... just need some wire nuts, a screwdriver, and an extension cord or 2.... or just wire the cord to the fixture, mounth it and plug it in, but that might cause heat problems.... just follow the instructions given in the link and you'll do fine

just a basic curved bit of sheet metal with the bulb centered in it will do fine.... give me the inside dimensions of your box and i'll make you a diagram for cutting and building a 4 sided reflector, can also be air cooled, but that depends on the temperature of where the box is located.....
