the best way to run a computer fan is to wire it up to a 9 or 12v DC adapter (like for a phone, cd player, etc. it looks like a box with the plug prongs stickin out one side and a cord out the other) and cut the plug end off (so you have a box with like a 4' long cord on it) and stip the wires back about 1/2".... then do the same to the fan and wire neg. to neg. and pos. to pos.
and be sure not to go over the amperage rating on the adapter.... like if your fans use .13a, and you power suply is 400ma (.1a = 100ma) you can safely run 3 fans of it (.13 = 130ma, x 3 = 390ma, 400ma - 390ma = 10 for power surges) but i would only recomend running 2 on it ![]()
