dier knows what he is doing. He also provided results from 2 instances of his own grows in which 1 had a blacklight and he claims that was better. He isn't saying it will work alone but in addition to what you are currently using. I have heard many people talking about using UV to help when flowering to make better buds. I saw some at I think walmart and I might just get a small one to add to my closet just for grins. I doubt it will hurt. The only reason I am even seriously considering it is because dier said it helps.

Someone posted a link earlier in this thread to some research on UV light and MJ. I don't think blacklights would work, but a Mercury Vapor lamp might be a good thing to look into as a supplement to CFL, HPS, or MH lighting.

Just in case you don't wanna go back and look for it: http://cannabase.com/cl/bcga/bcga/uv.htm

there is a $50 10.0 uvb light at the pet store for reptiles that you can buy, it does make more thrichomes during flowering. i'd imagine that using a little dinky black light wouldn't do shit. but black lights only help if you already have good lights.

yeah its never wrong to ask questions but if u read/research a little ull answer the questions for urself and not have to ask something that others might think is stupid. It's SO true that its human nature just to ask and not put in the effort to find out for urself. I guess it really depends on whether or not u care how u portray yourself to others.

Here's a question. Just curious, I know u can use green lights to light up ur grow area during the plant's sleep period without disturbing it. Can u also use blacklights?? no i didnt read or research cuz I couldnt give a squiggly pig shit what ppl think about me lmao

I keep hearing that black lights do not increase THC and that to even try it you have to buy a black light light the reptile owners use and they are expensive.

dont quote me on that last part, becuase the thing i read was very vague

i thought one plant per sqft?
