New stealth grow cab idea...
So this cabinet has nothing that makes it stand out over any other cabinet...but I feel like it will be as or more efficient than I need it to be. At least once I tweak it to my specific standards. None of this is to scale and the artwork is very crude so you'll have to stay tuned for my explanations.
The two red cylinders on each end of the tubing are carbon filters. The filter in the compartment at the top of the cab won't actually be inside. It will be behind the cab, venting the air out. I just put it inside to give you a reference as to where the 2nd filter will be.
The hood is a hydrofarm hood with a 600W HPS bulb. It is air cooled (as you can see) and has a 200 cfm vortex blower for venting. It is a 4'' blower. 200 cfm is more than enough for this light and cabinet design, right? The yellow lines on the right side of the cab are two small computer fans to help with ventilation and fresh air.
The light blue box under the light is there to represent a thermometer and hygrometer that will be hung on the wall. The box with slots in it is a vent to help with air intake. I don't know how to explain this easily, but I am going to build a small box to install the vent to make sure that it will be light proof.
All the dark blue cords you see represent electrical cords for various things. It will be much cleaner and more organized when the time comes, but like I said this is a rough sketch of my idea. The pink-ish lines going to the bottom of the trays are the pump and overflow lines to supply the nutrients. There will be 2 res's in this compartment. one for weeks 1-6 and a separate res for flushing in weeks 7-8. There will be 8-10 clones per tray, making a harvest every two weeks.
These pretty ladies will be Purple Wreck clones taken from a few bonsai mothers I'm going to have in a small veg cabinet. I'm sure there are ways to greatly improve space and organization. That's why I'm posting this and explaining everything. I'm hoping there will be criticism galore (constructive of course). The biggest thing I'm looking for is some help in including my veg cabinet in this setup, but not making my dimensions any bigger. Tell me what I forgot, what I need and anything you can think of to help.
