1kW Stealth Cab? Ideas?

Had to take down the flower and veg rooms the other day, on short notice or a visit from our landlord. Sigh. Living there since nov, and he waits until this past sunday to come over and check on the place. Grumble.
Back up and running now, with no dark cycle interruption (whew), but now i'm looking to go cab style I think. Just for the simple fact that I can lock a cab or three, but I can't keep my landlord out of my basement forever.

House almost a hundred years old, so here are the basic rooms i can put the cabinet in.
Basement w/main area (veg area tented in) and 8x12 separated room (current flower room), main floor w/ living/dining/kitch., and upstairs w/ 2 bedrooms that are both used and the bathroom.
Two small closets approx 2x2x6, rumplebucket living happily in one of them.
One large closet in the bathroom, approx. 5-6ft x 8-9ft.

Is it possible to build a cab for a 1000w hps, that would be good for SoG?
Anyone already done it?
What are some alternatives, considering severely limited disposible income?

Help me out brothers and sisters, I know your good for it.

1000watt? is that just to flower? I assume so.. Well I would go with the closet in the one bathroom 5-6 x 8-9. What can you spend? What do you already have in the way of fans? What are your limitations? IE: Can you cut a say 4-6" hole in the ceiling for venting and just repair it when you have to move? Also, how stealthy does it have to be? Complete stealth where you could walk by it and not hear or smell a thing or what?

Well, I can drop a few hundred into it if I have to. But it will need to be fully self contained box, aside from the electrical cord(s) of course, so that it can be relocated to another room if needed.

Basically i'm wondering what the logistical hurdles were for someone who's done this dance before. Dimensions, recommended fan type/cfm rating, soil/hydro, things like that.

I have a good setup going, and the heat my light generates isn't a problem, because I can vent it to the rest of the basement. But things have changed now, and I need to be able to box everything in and lock it up snug, wherever I end up putting it.

Bump.

Anyone?
I can't be the first person to want to go cab style with a 1000w.

Seems like a good idea use lights like these 250 low heat lights. Wow there nice and cool plants can grow right up to the bulbs.

You would have to water cool or heat pipe a 1000 hps I uhave used these before and I feel there would be to mutch room wasted (hight). Get a shade that takes 4 of these bulbs i use for veg. They are available in mh and sodium type thinks this is the way forwayd for ya bud.

In the second picture is a 250 watt mh right ontop of the seedlings and they still nice and cool. All the best gr8 Idea thoutgh bud.

All the best

Appreciate the suggestion!
I'm gonna try to stick with my 1000w to start, unless I can find a buyer locally for it and all my bulbs. If that happens i'm seriously looking at a pair of 400's, as I hear the heat from those is much less.
My cab doesn't have to be short, I was actually toying with the idea of making it a good 60-70in tall, so I may be able to use the 1k, but the 400's would def work.

Just need to figure out the actual design and start looking at fans and shit.
I can't get on craigslist here at work, man do I wish this site had gear swap boards...
