Some dimensions of the space, the ventilation possibilities, and the size cab you project will help with getting some answers. Pics will also help.

okay so i got some pics, i germinated some seeds from my last bag and planted them, just waiting for sprouts now

This is from an old aquarium, i have two 26w 1700 lumens CFL's

This is the box i am planning to use 28"x26.5"x15.5" HxWxD, i am going to take out the shelves and some of the front panels to create a door, theres a small drawer on the very bottomn would there be any reason for me not to remove it?, i plan on covering the interior with mylar and installing an intake and exhaust and hopefully have a hydro set-up before i need to transplant the three plants (if they ever get to that stage)

You may want to put some of your gear in that drawer.

What are the dimensions of the crawl space?

You won't be using tinfoil in the cab will you? Stuff creates hot spots. Do not use.

Thats about 4 inches right? Should be fine. Use both as Exhaust and use some passive intakes. Intake fans are not the way to go since it does not increase the venting capabilities.
Good choice on the mylar. Just checking.

thanks Don, i got some new photos and a question, what is a passive intake (smaller fan?)

These are the Two plants, the third hasn't grown

The Bigger one

And the smaller one

Im really sorry to hurt everyones eyes with such a lackluster grow, im waiting on some sta-kool that i got on amazon before i put them into the cab;

Okay so as you can see i took out all the drawers and made a door haha, i also cut out a hole for a fan and two holes on top for string soon to be chain. Any suggestions, comments, criticism is greatly appreciated. Have more pics after i get the sta-kool.

The passive intake, is an intake that allows air to be drawn in only by the vacuum that the exhaust fan creates.
An Active intake, is an intake that uses some means of pushing air into the chamber.

For Growing, 99% of the time, a passive intake/s is the way to go.

that hole should be your intake, use an exhaust fan higher up (preferably on top, but high rear is fine too)

Use a black PVC elbow and it'll trap the light pretty good.

Also, if your planning on growing those plants in that box, I'd suggest replanting them with the stems in the ground. Leave only an inch or so of stem sticking out and bring those lights of yours way closer to the plants. You want them to grow short and bushy, not long and skinny.

Whats the wattage of those CFLs? Are they daylight or softwhite?

sorry its been so long, the bulbs are 26w softwhite, i know that there not good but im real tight on cash, really tight. anyways the cab is running now;

so this it, not much at all, and the plants are doing horrible i didn't plan on really growing them though as i have some seeds that i am much more serious about;
http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk...arf-2559-p.asp
anyways i installed a intake as well as an exhaust;

i ended up only using white paint, couldnt get the sta-kool, as bad as the cab may be the temperature is a steady 72 degrees

so this is plant 1 looks really bad im guessing this is due to my horrible soil, unsterilized soil mixed with aquarium rocks and sand maybe root binding as well

this is the other plant most likely experiencing problems with soil as well

two soils i found around the house should i use either i was thinking the one on the right looked better, also i wanted to know if planting the germinated lowryder 2 seed directly into a 3 gallon pot and not ever transplanting would be okay? do you guys think it is even feasible to pull off a grow in this cab i don't really care much about yield just want to grow. I am also thinking about the possibility of putting an aerogarden classic into the cab, i was astounded at kbfl0912's aerogarden grow and recently i was offered one for 80 dollars if i bought it the only thing i would need to pay for would be nutes i may be able to afford that idk any input is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hey dude, those plants aren't looking half bad at all. I would definitely transplant them to bigger pots and put in your Shultz potting soil instead. If you don't have fertilizer, I would recommend the bag on the right as it has plant food in it. The one on the left seems to hold moisture better, which really isn't a big deal as you can water your indoor plants whenever you want. When you transplant, make sure to bring plant #1s stem into the ground a bit, its still stretching. Bring those lights closer and get a little fan in there.

To me it looks like you have one 26W and one 13W = 39W, even if they are both 26W thats only 52W total. Now I'm not to familiar with aerogarden, but I would suggest spending some money on lighting first. It'll give you a chance to get a few soil grows under your belt first.

thanks mayne, i didnt think my plants looked good at all, the picturer at the top does show a 13 and a 26 but since then i have changed the 13 to a 26, im goin to follow your advice and put some more light in we use cfls for every lightbulb in the house so i have a ton of them, i might end up doin 2-3 of the lowryder in the aerogarden and a the others in soil but fitt them all together in the cab, btw the aerogarden comes with its own lights so it could on ly help if i put the old bulbs in there in addition, ill definitely keep postin pictures im germin' some of the lowryder 2 x ak47 right now there feminized and autoflowering so it should be fairly easy, thanks again though.
