Fans for Robsgreen, Gonejah, Fearthe bug

Ok cab growers I have come across a new style fan that may be perfect for you guyz, it's a combination of an axial and centrifugal fan.

Not only is quiet, it's smaller, easier to install, cheaper, can be hard wired for 2 speeds and is capable of fan controller for all speeds.

Sound cool? Hell yeah!!!!

I bot the TD-100 4 inch cheapest model just to test out. It is quiet compared to my econo 4 inch vortex knockoff, about one fourth the DB's but it struggles to overcome the resistance of my carbon filter. So I changed it to a larger carbon filter and it worked excellent.

I searched all the doobie forums to see if it had been discovered and only found one forum outta 8 that had used it with great success esp in cab grows.

I just recently ordered the 6 inch version TD-150 with fan controller for my Op. A larger fan coupled with a controller to decrease the speed to do the job is always quieter then a fan that just fits your needs. (I put that in bold for a reason )

Anyway, I know you cab growers will love this fan, it's perfect for you guyz.

The 4 inch fan is so simple to install it makes ya wonder why they didn't think of this before?!?!

Well here are the webby's for ya.... you decide. PS. I bot mine from hvacquick, they have more of selection.

They have the entire line up. Read the 3 PDF files they have to help you decide.

Rob, Gonejah, Fearthebug and other cab growers may find this boo koo interesting and the key to quiet yet affordable ventilation.

Great find D. I think people will find that useful. I may just buy one if my AC/Airscrubber combo does not do the trick of cleaning my air inside my closed chamber. I'll just attach the fan to a carbon filter and hang it on the wall. Odor is not my concern, pathogens are.

Yea man those fans are the shit, cheap too. I am using 3 right now in my cab build. the 100 and two 200x. They are quite and push more air compared to the panasonic whispers and the vortex i use.

The manufacturers website has a pdf on there that tells you how many they push at specefic Static pressures. Here is my build in my sig if you want to see how i use them. Let me know if you have any questions, i will try to answer them the best i can..

Also note: all models up the the 150 use ABS Plastic. Then they switch to metal bades and housings. The 200x is the only model that switches back to the ABS plastic... that is why i chose it.

I bought them from that hvacquick site as well but just found them on sale here....
http://horticulturesource.com/

Like 133 for the 200x where as they are like 170 on the hvac site. That 250 is like half off on this site...
