Small Scale Stealth Computer Grow

Im starting my first grow project in a computer. Somthing that has been laying around the office storage room. I AM OPEN TO ALL SUGGESTIONS, but please no bashing or negetive input. Will get pics up as soon as it is set up. Currently massive production isnt what im looking for, even if I only get a few g's every couple months it will be enough. Thanks for the help in advance.

CPUx2: One for vegitation, one for flowering.

Computer Fansx3-4(depending on what I can get my hands on): Two for vegitation and one for flowering.(?)

Lights: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5684723 was thinking 3 for vegitation, two in flowering. With a light weight linked chain attached to a hook to drop down the lights. Or i was thinking something like light bulb tubes 21 inches or so and mount them on either side of the plant.

Smell: ? Still havnt figured that out yet (thats where you come in)

Growing method: Standard growing pot with soil (holes in the bottem for drainage), set ontop of a tray that collects water.

well... first go with a lowryder strain.

Secondly... if your starting from seed you might have a problem, cause you need to go 12/12 from the start.

From there i would only consider doing it if it was with using LED's, because they don't give off very much heat. If you do look for some of SmknVTEC's posts, you can probably see where he had his success and failures with LEDs.

I had a friend that was growing with LEDs for the past 2 years actually. Aparently she uses 'larger ones' that she got from a place that she worked at. I could hardly believe her right away that it was working, but her brother swore to it.

Next, about the smell issue, get an odor sok on your ventilation system, or/and use ONA and/or get a ozone generator (which are possibly dangerous).

Getting rid of the smell of pot is no laughing matter, and is the biggest hurdle to getting caught in a stealth operation. Ignoring your potential smell will be disastrous.

But if your going to go into this haphazardly you are going to get caught, it's as sure as the sky is blue. I know, I've been caught 4 times already, and currently I'm pulling off a great stealth closet grow; but i'm still fighting the smell issue; currently using just ONA gel, in a bucket with a fan on it; but it's really strong smelling, so at least it gets rid of the odor, but it has it's own smell. (this stuff smells like pinesol cleaner, or some sort of pine cleaning product.)

it's not a bad smell, but it's a smell none the less; and the less smells the better. My next move is to an odor sock, so see if one of those small things can get rid of the smell.

(right now i have 11 babies, that are just starting to smell. So i'm happy that the ONA gets rid of the smell, but I'm disapointed that I have such a strong replacement odor, even if it's just a pine smell, it's a smell none the less.

I'd say that the 42 watt cfls may be alot of heat that is not wanted. For a setup that small, Id go with the 26watt cfls. For odor (which will be a problem being the size of your grow box) Maybe get a third PC case and put an OZIUM mister inside of it , to spray every 15mins. Put all three side by side with the ozium in the middle case. Just a thought. You can work from clones, bonsai mom in one box, 2 clones SCROGed in other.

For space issues, Id put my lights like this in there.
