My shopping list, how is it?

I decided I need to grow indoors, and I started putting money away. I have a California Medical Marijuana card so the law won't really be a big issue with this grow. I have an 11x11ft bedroom to grow in, and in my county I am allowed 30 plants within a 10x10ft canopy, so its pretty much perfect. I found a good website with cheap hydro stuff, so I started putting together my shopping cart to order in a few days here. I plan on just growing with soil, with clones from the club. I plan on doing 8-10 under the 1000.
Here's my list

1-1000w ValuLine switchable ballast with reflector $199
Add a MH bulb $49
Digital thermometer/hygrometer $18
SunLeaves Soil pH meter $8
SunLeaves TDS Essential Pen for PPM $33
Calibrating solution for above $8
10ftx100ft Black/White Poly $80
15amp grounded timer $15

What am I leaving out other than soil, pots, and clones? I know I'll need something for ventilation, but I'm not sure what I should do about that yet. I am very open to suggestions.

What does everyone think?

EDIT: I realized I'll need some hangers for the light too.
Light Lifters $15

You've made a good start.

Definitely get a better PH meter. Anything under $30 is is guaranteed to be junk. Hanna makes one of the cheaper semi-decent ones.

Ventilation is vital (as you know)' I'd definitely figure that out before I ordered anything. A good fan and ducting is likely to cost you $200 +

Sounds like it will be a nice grow though. Good luck.

I was just thinking about ventilation, and searching the forums about it but I couldn't find anything about a grow in a room this large...I'm not too sure how I'll do that.

Any ideas on good ventilation?

Thanks for the help.

I posted another thread on ventilation cause I figured there was quite a bit to it.

What else am I leaving out?
Is 8 clones in 3 gallon pots under 1000w reasonable?

Thanks!

9 to 1000watts can be fine if you are using 3 gallon pots. At one time we used to use 4 1000 watt lights and flower 36 plants from clones in a 12x14 room with a criscross walkway between each set of 9 plants, CGE.

If you wanted to do 8, 1000 watts will be fine if all kept close to the light (you could not use the entire 11x11 space and grow monsters as the outer perimeter would produce little for the effort. Flower them small and keep the light close to the plants.

1000 watts has a coverage of about a 5ftx5ft area.

I use a 1K and my foot print is 4x4 and all the buds at canopy level are outstanding,5x5 would work just as well too.
Im limited to the # of plants i can grow here so i went the 3 month veg with only 3 plants but the foot print is 4x4 and i will surely yield nearly one LB.
