my new Hydro grow room! pics included

Sup.. So I have grown a few girls in soil, so im taking the next step. This is what I got, pics follow...

HydroHut Mini, 3.25x3.25x6.5

SH 6 plant bubbleponics set up

600 watt HPS with Dual Mh/Hps digital Ballast

I upgraded the Reflector and bought a larger one that is also air cooled

Vortex Blower

optional Flange kit

Digital temp/humidity monitor

Advanced 3 part chemical nutrients ( Specifically enginered for Mary Jane )

And the rest is apparent, hydrotun, air stone, water pump etc.. I am however using a submergeable irrigation extension on the water pump that equally distributes the nutrient solution from the bottom of the grow medium not the top like typical drip systems..

I am using 6 gallons of water in a 8 gallon bucket, not using all 6 plants, just setting it up with 3 for now, i will be adding C02 within the next few days, but I just put my baby girls into the hydro set up and got excited to post pics.. All girls I bought clones from the store today, Strain is a high yielding Kush variety called Afghanee Kush..

I know what you guys may be thinking, no intake or exhaust and no Carbon filter, but I figure that less is sometimes more, keeping it conservative for my first hydro grow.

Im a California medical patient, so the smell is of no concern to me. I have an air cooled hood and my temp stays under 80 most often right at 79 degrees with out the use of intake or exhaust, which is why i spent the big bucks on the air cooled hood and the vortex Blower.

I will get into TDS and what not as soon as im get this down and increase my grow capacity..

Enjoy the pics, comments welcome, I will be also posting my grow journal in the journal section if anyone is interested. thanks

hey i heard the HydroHut is bad for plants and will kill your grow. The glue in the plastic is bad for the plants. have you heard this? i hear they are being returned to stores everywhere.

I have 2 of them and never had a problem. The thread you are reffering too was started on ICMAG. Even one of the top sellers in California was posting on the subject. Anyway the problem seems to have been fixed. So I wouldn't worry to much.
