Cheap ass grow v1
I must warn you this is by no means to look fancy, this something small for me to get some grows under my belt with. Okay so far I have: Fox farms Ocean Forest Organic Soil, Alaska Fish Emulision, and Fox Farm Open sesame. For lighting im going to have 5 13 watt CFL's on this one plant (veg: daylight X3 soft white X2; flow: 5X soft white) and I have a computer fan which I can seem to get working...plastic on the rug and mylar on the walls. This is going to take up maybe at the most 2x2 of my closet, Sound good for 1 plant? any suggestions?

Would possibly opt for the 26 watt bulbs. The light bases can be split, and you can use double on each.

heh no problem, I already have 2 of those adapter on hand. I guess ill make a trip to kmart. might grab sand and vermiculite too. You think humidity/heat would be a problem here?

Well, Where are you venting to and where is your intake coming from?
I can get 90 in my little mom cab (pictured above) but with a computer fan running almost constantly, I can get it to 82 with all of the above lights on. Are you going to have a closet with a box in it or just free wheeling in the closet?

Free wheelin it, i have an oscilating fan on the other end on low right now. Venting is going to be a problem, im in a town house and I share the wall my plants next to, cutting holes in the wall is not an option. I was thinking of just keeping the central heating system on at opt temp for the plant.

If you can keep it open all day that would be best, you don't want co2 to deplete and the air to get stale. If you can not keep the door cracked, you will need to vent and draw air in.
Can you draw a diagram of your room and the location of your closet?
