Hey everyone. I am up and doing some "light" work today. I am now going to be able to take advantage of not being able to work for a while! Granted I can't lift more than 10lbs, I still have some things I can do. I am starting the IR barrier today. Tomorow I wil frame up the rear and door of the box. I found a Roll of Insulation in my garage and I am going to wrap the box in this before I fire it up. I am looking for a way to vent my attic better (fan powered), was goingto go with a normal gable fan, but have been looking at a cheap 8" inline fan (Vortex knockoff) that moves 765cfm. My attic vents are an odd measurement, and a gable fan will have nowhere to mount. I am thinking on using a register box with an 8x14 rectangular opening on one side and an 8" round opening on the other side. I'll mount the box side to the attic vent and the inline fan to the round side. should work better than the original idea.

1 lone clone looks like it may survive. Hope it lives, otherwise off from seed.

Ok. So i got the greatstuff shaved level with the floor and now just need to seal the small cracks with Butyl Rubber Caulk. I got most of the IR blocking sheets up, just need to aluminum tape the joints, and put some up around the vent after I put my ducting and fan (attic cooling only) on there.

After I seal up the small cracks in the floor, I am going to paint it with the elastomeric roofing compound. After the rest of the walls are up, I am going rubberize them too, and seal all corners, lay styrofoam down, and plastic off the bottom for water spills. I am going to get a non hardening sealing compound to seal the rim of the plastic sheeting to the lower part of the walls, this will keep it sealed water/air tight.

I like this coating because I can clean it with bleach and water without harm to the surface, it seals up micro pores in wood that paint can't, and it is reflective white.
I tested some on a scrap piece of wood I had and it hardens totally and seals nicely.
After hardening and curing for a day, I dropped it in a pan of water and let it sit overnight, and when checked in the morning, it had not soaked through at all!! Great

Here is the rear wall frame. Gotta frame this in sections due to lack of head room for other work.

Thought the house was gonna burn today. I moved a section of flexible steel conduit, and the box shorted and sparked. I heard this Bvvvvt noise and was like WTF, so I looked around the corner of my box and saw the box do it again (big purple sparks inside the metal electrical box) and it was covered in blown insulation.

I moved that insulation and stopped fuckin with the conduit. Must redo all the connections in that box. This is power that was run by original owner for the exterior lights, and is the power I am going to use for the attic vent fan.

Sprung for a new roll of the IR sheild. Will use that around outside of box and on top of the rubberized wood floor, under the styrofoam and plastic. I am going to insulate the outside of the box and cover the insulation with the IR blocker.

I will continue to patch in my used IR shit on the walls and ceiling of the attic itself.

Also got a PeepHole to put on my door, so I can check the temp and humidity without opening the door, and some vinyl window locks to test as the door locking mech.

I found out where that power is being sent to (the shit i almost started a fire with while moving the flex conduit) besides the otside light, and it is on a 15amp breaker, of which 5amps max is used when everything is in use. So I have another power option!!!!!!!!!!! I love that. Putting in an auxilliary outlet!

I had a weird dream today (those pills will do that) and it told me to plant the seed.
I had been thinking about planting one of my seeds (to get a headstart on a possible mom) a couple days ago. I did plant one today. Sounds dumb, I know, but i did it anyway, now the clone won't be lonely.

The one clone is quite possibly going to make it. Too late to get more, they switched to 12/12, 2 days after I originally gottem.

Got the wiring done. What a chore with that old wire. I hate it. Plus its flexible steel conduit, not the aluminum new stuff. Bonus though is I have an outlet where none were found. Now Instead of 2 seperate circuits, I have 3 there. Pics later. The price keeps going up and up and up. Glad I diy'd where I could, otherwise we're talking a bunch more $. Not exactly going to itemize, but will add up receipts as best as I can when I am finished, and will post my grand total at the end of the build.

Well I think my camera finally shit the bed. It says the internal memory is full, but I cleared all the pics. I took these last three. The power up and connected. All the outlets are on their own circuits. The last pic is of the wiring I had to fix, so I put in an outlet. The first two are of the original outlets in the design.

OK sweet deal. Figured out that my cameras memory still works on economy! So The pics are shitty, but none of the less, still pics. Between my last post and this post I know it don't look like alot to all of you, but it is a great deal of work considering what I can normally get done (for various reasons described in past posts) on a regular day.

Got one corner sealed and Got as much sealing of the small cracks in the floor as I could, until I ran out of sealant. (pic2)

Came up with a real good idea today. Seeing as how my attic temps will be about +10 degrees F in the winter, I can't be running AC now can I!! I obviously could pump air in from the attic, but that would defeat the CGE. In comes the Hot air exchanger to save the day! I was driving to get some smokes when all of this dawned on me. (I can't use AC in the winter, but we can benefit from the cold temps in there somehow)

In my brain, I Engineered plans for a heat exchanger that allows me to keep the room sealed, and it will just take the place of the AC in the sidewall of the cab, run on the same temp controller. I will sketch up the Idea on Paint later when I am on my computer doing the nightly.

Got some great dank today. I never usually say anything about what I'm smoking on, But this deserves me telling you so. I always do 1Es now that I am getting up there in age, and I seriously only need one hit of these. It tastes like peaches. mmmmm.

Man how plans have changed on the construction since I started. Started readin the beginning of my thread and had to start revising the old posts as to update lazy readers. I finally said f it on about the 10th post. I kinda drew up the new wiring plan today. here it is.

Ok. here is the drawing hot off the press as promised. This is the replacement for the AC during the winter months when temps can go to 10 degrees F outside the cab, making it impossible to use Air conditioning....... as an active system, but in a passive system, we can do it. Can be hooked up to the same temp controller that the AC uses during the summer, is the same size as the AC unit, and will butt tons cheaper to run. What you get is pic1,
