Passive air intake question: external filtered ducts?
I am turning a detached garage into an office space with a separate growspace. I'll have roughly 100sqft in either a 6x16 or an 8x12 area. I will use an untainted air loop with a blower for the growtubes and an external extraction fan for dehumidifying and cooling. This will require that I have at least two separate passive intake ducts into my room - both from the external wall. I have spent hours trying to educate myself in the ways of HVAC specific to my purposes, but I have been unable to figure out the best solution for external intake ducts. These ducts need to be filtered because outside air will have lots of dust and pollen. Has anyone done anything similar? Could you please point me to a filtered intake duct? Preferably one that won't let anything come in when the extraction fans aren't blowing. They also need to be rodent and bug proof.
Much thanks in advance for any assitance.
