Ventilation Problem

Hey Can any one help me?? I have a relatively large room. I plan a doing a nice setup. three stages. cloningbed- veg and flowering stages at all times, so i can have a constant crop. The room is big enough and Space is not a problem. The problem i have is I live in a house with 5 people and only me an another person know about this setup. I want to keep it Quite from the others and this isnt a problem because the room locks and no one would go into there. My problem is I dont have a way to vent. The room is concrete on all four sides, i cant run a ventilation setup anywhere out side of the room into the public eye. Eventually smell will be a problem and i will need fresh air for the plants. I am 8 days into the gow and need some solutions fast. Any Reccomendations ??? ? ?

if everyone doesnt know about it then i dont think it would be a good idea....some of those people you live with may not support the fact that you growing marijuana in their house

but anyways your best bet would be if your not growing in a cabinet, go for one of those air purifiers. Ozone generator would be hazardous if you dont have air flowing into your room

No everyone in the house would be perfectly fine with it. We all talked about it when we moved in here. This was the main reason why i wanted to move into the house we have. My motto is that the less people that know, the less other people can find out. Its just me and my other roomate doing this operation so we are the ones with something to lose, not the others so i wanted to keep them in the dark. They def wouldnt get upset if they found out, rather i just dont want them to know..

in a room thats lets say 10' x 15 ' would it be a problem to not have a ventilation system,
EI. would it hurt that crop bad? I have grown before i just wanted to do a little bit larger operation and was wondering if lets say 10 plants in the flowering stage would need a constant air circulation from an outside source.

You're asking a lot of questions without giving much information. What kind of lighting are we talking about? How many lights? HPS/MH ONE 1000W bulb will give off 3000 btu's, 2 or 3 such lights will give off as much heat as some gas fireplaces. If you're even considering that much light without ventilation, you're gonna have problems. However, you don't necessarily need ventilation if you have a SEALED room, and run an air conditioner, but the A/C will need to get its own ventilation.

Well right now I am usiing 6 40 WaTT flouros to start the grow.i plan on switching to a 600 watt mh for the veg and a 600 watt HPS for the flowering. I believe with the size of the room and some fans heat shouldnt be a problem, but will the lack of fresh air be a problem ? ?

If you're only using one light in flowering and one light in Veg at 600W each, you wouldn't have too much problems except on the hot summer days. You might be able to get enough air coming in (and exiting) from under the door. I would still put some kind of carbon scrubber in the flowering area to keep the smell down.

Thanks I appreciate the help. The room is solid concrete so hopefully that will keep the heat down in the summer. And i have a Ion air polirizer (*spelling?) so that should help with the smell. Thanks again

To even out your temperatures in the room, run the lights in such a way that you don't have both running at the same time. I know they are gonna overlap in the veg room some, but don't have both light OFF all at the same time. In other words if the flower room is on from 8pm to 8am, Have your veg on from 8am to midnight.
If it's deep in the winter it will help maintain temps from dropping too much, as there is always one light on producing some heat.
