thinking inside the box

So this is what i'm working with

I built a box in the closet in my room. It's about 30" tall, 40" wide, and 18" deep. I've got it pretty much air tight, it's all caulked and i have weather stripping around the doors. I have a couple of questions though. I plan on having a 150w hps and maybe 4 cfls for some side lighting. I haven't bought any of the electrical yet, so nothing is set in stone, maybe that isn't the best set up for me. i don't really know to be honest. But my question is can i run all of that off of a junction from a wall outlet? i can't just plug in to the wall outlet because of where the box is and how secret it needs to be. my plan is to go into the attic and just jump a 12g wire from the other side of the wall to the box. I also need to get power to two inline duct fans i bought.

The other question i have is can the intake fan and the exhaust fan be on the same side of the box? i would like to have the exhaust up top and the intake down low. would this maybe work if i had a little oscillating fan inside the box to keep the air moving?

I'm sorry my thoughts are so scattered. I know it's probably hard to connect all of my thoughts, but i really appreciate all of the help i can get. Thanks a lot guys.

If you feel comfortable (safe) running wire for a new outlet then go for it. That would be a clean installation. Are you planning an outlet in the closet to plug the box in or hardwire the box? I'd recommend the outlet.

I'm guessing the outlet you will be jumping isn't used for heavy duty appliances. Probably shouldn't iron on the same circuit. Just total up the watts for everything running and divide by volts. (150+Fans+CFL)/110 = amps. Home circuits are usually 15 amp, but you shouldn't load to capacity. Maybe 7.5 - 11.25 amps.

yeah i think i'm just going to hardwire it. it doesn't seem any easier than make a plug outlet on the end of the new hot wire. i bought all of the lights today. i think i have 9 cfls and i have a 3ft wide two bulb flourescent fixture that's going to hang from the top. that i hope will be good enough. i just hope that i'm not going to be drawing too much power. i have all of those lights plus two in line duct fans. i'll have to use that equation and find out. thanks for the advice.
